Hello all fellow BLOG followers! (If I still have any after being absent for months!) :)

I have missed blogging, we have just been going so much lately, it's been hard to keep up! As a matter of fact, I decided to come current with the blog........ for now, b/c we are moving away this weekend, and I won't have access to my computer to "update"- SO you'll just have to wait until we are OFFICIALLY settled into our NEW OWNED HOME to see MORE! :)

Here's the story...........
We are moving this weekend to a beach house in New Smyrna Beach! YIPPEE! (kinda a mini- vacation while we wait for our home!)........the house we made an offer on back in June of 2009 is STILL unavailable for us to move into, and the home we are renting is selling as of May 12- SO therefore, we have to GO, but only temporarily, SO, we're packing up all our belongings into a POD and we are headed to a furnished house on the beach!

Friday we are HEADING out, and praying the house we are buying will open up quickly so we can move in and get settled before summer comes around! We can't be more happy to get this house when we finally move in..... after all we HAVE waited for this, for (what will be) A YEAR!
Please keep us in your prayers while we will be in "MOVING LIMBO" for the next month or so.

Thank you, and enjoy the new BLOG updates! :)

CHANGES........

It literally feels like yesterday, that Reagan was big enough to be moved from her bassinet to her crib (at 3 months old).... and if you have had a new born, and put them in their crib, you remember seeing how HUGE the crib looked with them inside. Now, I have made the LEAP to a Big Girl Bed, and it feels really surreal! She's nearly 2 1/2 , potty trained, and in a big bed! This is just crazy to me!
We have had GREAT success with this CHANGE, and she is loving being able to bring her babies into her bed, and "put them to sleep", OR just climb in and read a story. All these "changes" are necessary, BUT it definitely makes a Mother SAD! :) It really won't be long and she'll be riding her bike off to Kindergarten! AHH!! :) (well, I'm not going to get too carried away!)

Aunt Sarah's Wedding 4-10-10

MORE WEDDING PHOTOS FROM MY SISTER'S WEDDING!

This was how we curled Reagan's hair- We kept her busy watching The Little Mermaid, and with a bag of Cheetos! :) She was happy as a LARK!
ME: Matron of Honor
Reagan: Flower Girl
(she threw ALL the flowers out at the very beginning of the walk, so there weren't any left by the time we got to the guests, but she did what she was suppose to!)

Now, these two pictures are out of order- I'd like for you to look below at how involved I look, watching Sarah and Pat cut their cake..... myself and the Best Man we asked by Sarah and Pat to stand next to them while they cut the cake- ....... AND above you can see WHY- they actually smashed the cake in OUR FACES! It was quite a shock, but REALLY funny!
Way to go guys! ....... I'm over it, but one day you'll get it! :)
My Best Friend Kobi

The picture above is my friend from high school, and Sarah's wedding photographer, Megan- I can NOT wait to post pictures from her! :)
My beautiful Mother, Lovely Bride (making some CRAZY face), and my new Brother-in-Law!

Aunt Sarah's Wedding 4-10-10

Congratulations to my sister Sarah and my NEW Brother-in-Law Pat!! They had a beautiful wedding April 10, 2010 in Midland, TX. at the Confederate Air Force Memorial Garden. (More pictures to come) ... but first, I must show off the most gorgeous Flower Girl EVER! :)

Sarah, had this little Flower Girl shirt made for Reagan to wear at the rehearsal .... and Reagan is wearing her Aunt Sarah's awesome PINK heels! .... She is matching so perfectly! :)
......... and this was the finished Flower Girl, all dolled up....... she said she wanted to look like Cinderella, and I think she DID.........

Then and Now..........

I just LOVE comparison photos! I came across this photo a couple weeks back and it just brought back SO many memories! ..... This was taken at our friends 1st birthday party in Oct. of 08'!

..........And this was Easter 2010.......... time is REALLY flying with my little baby girl!

Orange Grove photo shoot

Back in January I was asked to help a photographer expand her portfolio by taking some pictures out in the Orange Groves around town- This is one picture featured on her site, (with my mock daughter) :) It's a favorite of mine!
We had a really good time!

Boat Ride with Daddy!

Adam has a little fishing boat, and just last week took it on a trip to the Keys with his cousin, So, in preparation for his trip, we took it out for a spin one weekend! It was a wonderful day and Reagan LOVED driving it in 360's mostly! :) ....... now that we've let her drive it ONCE, she thinks she is captain, EVERY TIME!

You can tell by the look on her face though, she's not much of a fan or the life vest!

"Cutest Kidz contest"

A local photographer recently (well, give or take several months, lol!) sent me info on entering Reagan in a Cutest Kidz contest - I figured, "what did we have to lose?" So, I did it! She made it to the top 25 kids, and then they had a following "call-back" round, that required all the kids to get a professional photo done (by her) so each kid would have an even shot in the contest (so some kids didn't have professional photos, and some just plan)- I LOVED the picture she captured! It actually just makes my day!

THE CONTEST IS OVER NOW, AND REAGAN DIDN'T MAKE IT INTO THE TOP 10 :( ........ BOO!!!!
(The contest consisted of voting daily to see who made it into the top 10, so people had to vote daily for like two weeks!)
BUT, I KNOW ALL THAT VOTED, SUPPORTED HER WELL, AND WE DON'T CARE, SHE'LL ALWAYS BE THE CUTEST KID TO ME!

Art By: Reagan Haynes

Adam and I have really gotten into the decorating/designing shows on HGTV lately (since we are soon going to be home owners, we love the ideas) AND in one of our favorite shows "Divine Design", the host makes a HUGE piece of art for the room, and it's always so abstract. I only wish I could throw together some paint, and make something look good. BUT, one person who CAN, is my daughter! SO, I took her to Michael's Craft Store, we picked out some canvas' and paint, and she made this...... ALL BY HERSELF!....... I promise, not help from mommy at all!

"Just keep swimming......."

After a successful 4 week daily lesson of Survival Swim Lessons, Reagan has become quite the fish! She is loving the warm, sunny weather now too! We try to go swimming just about every day so she can brush up on her skills! :)

Survival Swim Lessons!

Reagan started a survival swim lesson course March 1st that will continue for 4 weeks M-F (everyday). It is a huge commitment for both of us, but I am already THRILLED that we have started this, she LOVES going and LOVES her instructor!

I couldn't be happier that she LOVES to swim SO much! We will hopefully be moving into a new home (with a pool) at the end of April, and I think I'll have my (warmer) days cutout for me in the pool- but why do you buy a house with a pool if you're not going to use it!? :) I can't wait!
So far in four days she has LEARNED how to float on her back, flip over onto her back from a swim, and locate the wall/stairs- in the above picture she is wearing flippers to help her master kicking while swimming-

PIG ROAST!!!

Adam shot a pig with his bow last weekend and he is really excited to roast it while his parents are in town visiting soon! ... Hope it's good, b/c he sure looks NASTY!

Sunglass Queen!

There are SO many ways to wear sunglasses!

Fashionable.................

...................Upside down................ (Let me just note, these two pictures are from two DIFFERENT days, and she would be in the same shirt BOTH days- clearly it's a battle I choose not to fight!) :)
............OR Glam!

First Dentist visit-

Now that we are 2 years old, it's time to start getting serious about our teeth. A friend of ours that is a Pediatric Dentist, AND cleans mine and Adam's teeth wanted to see Reagan after she turned 2- Reagan LOVES to brush her teeth, we use an electric toothbrush with kids' MINT toothpaste (which the dentist told me to start using on her to make dentist appts easier as she gets older)- So, I thought the dentist would be a BREEZE- I had it all planned out- we had talked about it a few days before, practicing "AHH" keeping out mouth open wide, etc. and I was going to get a cleaning FIRST so she could watch and see that it's just fine! But as soon as it was her turn- she WOULDN'T open her mouth!
She ended up just getting a quick look through and got to wear some cool "protective eyewear" and she dug through a treasure chest- ... maybe she'll open in about 6 months- .... that's what I'm hoping for- BUT in the meantime, she has a really bad over-bite due to her sucking her thumb, and we've been instructed to stop the thumb sucking! NOT EXCITED ABOUT THIS ONE!

MugShot school picture-

Reagan had her FIRST school picture taken a few weeks ago, and THIS is what we got from it! This is what I like to call.... a MUG SHOT- She looks quite unhappy, and that stray hair hanging, makes it even funnier!
The teachers said she didn't want to participate and smile, but I thought, "Oh Please, I'm sure it's beautiful!" - Well, the teachers WERE right! LOL! But she still looks like a little porcelain doll to me! ....Just a very unhappy one!

(BTW this isn't the greatest copy of the picture- I didn't buy one but they gave out complimentary bags with their photo on it, so this is a picture of her picture ON a bag... if that makes sense!)

BIRTHDAY DAY WORLD!!

BIRTHDAY WORLD!!!
This is a place, that you can have a Birthday party at, OR just go to play any day!
$5 for unlimited Rides and Bounce Houses! It's a NO-Brainer!!!
It's basically a little fair in a warehouse- (so who knows how safe these rides really are... eek) BUT the catch is, the child must be 2 to ride, and HAS to ride ALONE on the rides- ....... did you think I would have trouble getting Reagan to ride anything?...... I think NOT!- she rode EVERYTHING, and would just walk off saying, "Bye Mommy!" (Little Miss Independent!)
Below are a few rides she rode, and LOVED! The Train she is in, is actually a ROLLER COASTER! She is going to be my little daredevil!

It's quite a scary "coaster" for a 2 year old! And it went REALLY fast! You may not be able to tell from the picture, but if you double click on it, to make it larger- this center rod looking thing, is basically all that is holding this coaster together- ... again I say, I'm not sure how SAFE this was, but it was FUN! LOL

Cover Models!

Reagan and I shot the cover for a local "Moms Like Me" magazine back in November for the January issue and it turned out SO cute!
The bottom picture is the photo that was inside the magazine talking about the article, "staying fit for the new year!"

SNOW DAY IN ATL!!

A couple weeks ago, Adam and I saw in the forecast, that it was going to SNOW in Atlanta, and I had been wanting to go visit my in-laws, so we loaded up the car and drove the 6 hour drive to Atlanta to play in the snow for the weekend, and see the grandparents!
Here are a few shots from the FUN we had!

this is one of my favorites, ABOVE- my two LOVES climbing a big hill of snow!

BELOW: Adam is clearly showing off his tolerance for COLD weather! HAHA!

Alabama National Champions 2009!

I may be several months LATE in blogging this, but if you didn't already know, and you're a college football fan, ALABAMA won the National Championship in Jan, in Pasadena, CA....... and WE were THERE! It was amazing!
The weather was beautiful, we had great time spent with some amazing friends, and a WIN, you can't ask for anything more!!!

AND AT THE BOTTOM BE SURE TO TURN UP YOUR VOLUME AND ENJOY A LITTLE VIDEO I MADE OF OUR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP EXPERIENCE!
