Green Meadows Petting Zoo Video Collage

This is a small dose of what we experienced at the Green Meadows Petting Farm this year.

Video #1: Reagan milked a cow- This video doesn't really do her bravery justice, since she walked away rather quickly to blow a kiss, wave to the cow and suck her thumb- but I was proud of her attempting the milking process! I wasn't brave enough! LOL

Video #2: Reagan meeting the Momma Cow's Baby; Tipper (he had a white marking on the tip his tail)

Video #3: "Duck! Duck! Duck!" Reagan loved talking to the Duck, but was not quite into petting him, she enjoyed jumping with Charlotte much more! Please notice the man at the end of the video whose baby duckling runs away from him! Hysterical!

Video #4: Petting the sheep! There were tons of sheep in here just about running Reagan over, but she didn't seem to mind! I apologize for happening to be recording while a sheep decided to take a poo poo in my video! YUCK! And it was nearly on Reagan! EEK!

Video #5: Feeding the sheep

Video #6: Petting the loner goat

Video #7: James and Reagan petting the loner goat

DISCLAIMER: NO ANIMALS WERE INJURED IN ANYWAY WHILE TAPING THESE VIDEOS, AND JUST IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING, THERE WAS USE OF A LOT OF HAND SANITIZING DURING THE DAY. :)

**One of our great friends, Jamie, who is also born on December 19, is a VET and I say that Reagan could grow up to be just like Jamie b/c she has a LOVE for all animals!

Pumpkin Patch Take 2

Last Saturday was cool! Yah Whoo! It was about 60 degrees for a few days over the weekend, and Reagan, Daddy and I went out to the Pumpkin Patch again to get a BIG pumpkin to carve. We got some Winnie the Pooh carving stencils- and we will post a picture WHEN we finally carve it! :) I very rarely get a picture of the two mini-me's together so I LOVE this one! And the one on the bottom is "SO REAGAN!"

Animal Kingdom, Florida, October, 90 degrees!

HOT James and Reagan on the "Choo-Choo"

Jen, James, Reagan and I with our pal, GOOFY! (James was a bit hesitant)
............BUT he loved being with Minnie! :) I love this picture!

Video below is Reagan petting the sheep, and if you didn't already know what a sheep "says", I'll tell you......... (LOL)

Friday's are normally our "playgroup" play dates and we've really been slacking on attendance because Reagan and I BOTH are exhausted by the end of the week from school, and other activities we just aren't up to more on Friday- BUT on this day we made an exception. A few of the Daddy's of kids in the group work for Disney World, and we were able to get in free one afternoon. It would have been wonderful had the weather treated us nicer! It was 90 degrees..... in OCTOBER!! It literally was MISERABLE! But, we managed and had a wonderful time playing. Jen, James, Reagan and myself stayed after everyone else and had fun watching The Lion King Show, and meeting characters! We even went on a "Choo-Choo" and petted some sheep! Over all it was a FREE day at Disney with great Friends, which can't be beat!!

Hair-DO

Reagan found my hairdryer, (Sarah, can you believe I still have this, it was from Dad's!) she decided she wanted to blow her already dry hair
- It was so funny watching her! She LOVED it! I have temperature controls on this hairdryer. and so I put it on "cool".

PUMPKIN PATCH 2009

PUMPKIN PATCH 2009

Reagan has a "thing" right now for OWL's, not sure why, but I bought her a new pair of PJ's once with an OWL on it, and ever since then, her and Adam have been "hooting" for months, AND the only PJ's she wants to wear is the OWL, and really doesn't ever want me to take it off either! But, I saw this shirt and knew she'd love it! PLUS, it worked well, for Halloween "Orange"! I had to laugh when Adam told her, "this will be the closest thing to a HOOTER'S girl, you'll ever be!"
She loves the shirt, even though it's long sleeved, and she picked out her shoes for today also, green ballet slippers. (the ones from her "lollipop photos in July") - she's never been able to wear them, b/c she CAN'T keep them on her feet, AND they didn't match one bit, but WHATEVER, it wasn't worth the fight! :) At least she looked cute! It was nearly 90 degrees, it felt like, But I always like to dress her up like "fall" for these pictures, even if it is "FAKE"- LOL!

Doesn't she look SO BIG here!? I can't believe it!

We met our friends James and Charlotte to play at the Pumpkin Patch this morning, and then we had a Pizza Party at James' house! James kept saying, "Pizza Party, Pizza Party!"

Mommy and Reagan!
(Please ignore the ugly band aid, on my arm, Adam has passed Poison Ivy onto me, and I'm trying my hardest not to pass it on to Reagan, Or scratch it, so I'm keeping it covered!)

I hate to admit it, but Reagan's learned how to PICK HER NOSE! Yuck! I really thought only BOYS did that, (j/k) But she's had an ongoing clear, runny nose, which I'm learning from my friends with kids in school settings is called "the daycare running nose" - according to friends, it's a constant running nose, that means nothing it's just from the kids sharing germs during the day- So, now that her nose runs, ALOT- she shoves her finger up it! YUCK! I'm working on the manners now! :)

"Ring around the Rosies"- the kids enjoyed walking, holding hands, but couldn't figure out how to actually do it without ending up in a circle! :)
Sweeties!- Look at how sweaty they got from running around!

"God is Great, God is Good......."

So long highchair, this kid is growing up, and ready for the "big" table!
We have retired the highchair to the garage, and Reagan is now eating at the dining room table in a booster seat, or eating at her picnic table. This is a BIG step in our house, b/c it requires lots more cleaning up, but it helps Reagan learn to sit like a "big girl" and eat with us! She's doing great, and I TRUELY enjoy mealtimes together!
We say the blessing at every meal and she is now saying it in her own version.
Enjoy the video!
