Girl, Just Wants to have FUN!!

"Blue" Eyed Girl-

How sweet are these!? I Love the bottom one, and Adam loves this top one, like she's posing!

She has started blowing kisses to me when I say I love you.  She did it for the first time yesterday when I left her at the gym play area.  It was so sweet, she now does it every time you tell her you love her.  I'm not sure how she picked up on that.  But when I say to give someone a kiss, she may not always kiss that person, but she'll almost always make the kissing noise with her mouth!

If the hat fits.... wear it!

Reagan has always been really into Adam's baseball caps that he wears, and this Saturday she was playing with his, trying to put it on her head- he reminded me of her little first fishing cap he bought her while on his fishing trip in the Keys and when it put it on her, she loved it!  ...... and it fit perfectly! She has a very tiny head, so it's hard for hats (in the proper sizes) to fit.   She wore it that day to breakfast, and to the Whole Foods Farmers Market.

New Forward Facing Car Seat!

Yippee!  Reagan is now one year old and gets to face forward in her new car seat! This was what I was most excited about when she turned one! She has hated riding in the car (backwards) since she was a newborn, and now she gets to see the world and loves it!  The first time she rode in her new seat, Adam took her to the gym and said she got in it, and looked around like a king on a throne! So sweet!

Chili eating photo shoot TAKE.... 5?!

Well, we found a winner!  Reagan loves Izzy's chili!  I have been having the hardest time feeding this little girl!  She is very picky when it comes to lunch and dinner- she is a huge breakfast eater, like me- but not so much with veggies, meats, etc.
I was so thrilled that she liked the chili that I had to take some pictures! I've gotten in a bad habit saying "CHEESE" when she is suppose to pose for the pictures (I say a bad habit, b/c if you really look at your face when you say cheese to smile, it's an awful face you make! Very FAKE!)- but as you can see, below is the "chili photo shoot" and it took many takes!  She is learning to smile for a photo but gets soo CHEESY, that she is closing her eyes!  HAHA! Enjoy!

"The Land" in Deland, FL.

A few weekends ago Adam, Reagan and I were invited out to his Dr.'s (the Dr. he provides medical supplies too) "land" to hang out, fish, play, etc.
There were several kids there to entertain Reagan, but not a whole lot for us to do with her since she can't walk- we put her on a picnic blanket on the ground and played with some of her toys while the "boys" went fishing.  Here are a few shots from (probably) the longest day outside, she has ever had!

She rode around on the golf cart with the kids and Princess (the dog)-
These girls helped entertain her the entire time, Thank you Sandrin, and Hannah!  Reagan loved these girls!
After the long day outside, we went back to their house to eat dinner- Reagan got to take a bath in the BIG Jacuzzi tub!  Imagine how fun it was for me to bath her in that! ... very difficult!

Picnic Table!

Is she not so proud showing off her new picnic table!?  I love this picture! She looks so grown, and so...... dare I say, "sly"- I felt like a picnic table was something we needed to start projects, etc. and it would be a perfect thing out in the backyard.  So, Monday morning I picked this one up!  She seems to like it a lot, just doesn't really understand how to either, "stay on your bottom", or eat at it, she likes to take her food off the table, and crawl around.  :)

P.S.- i'm trying to get MORE creative with the blog, so I'm trying something new with the font... not sure I like it, but we'll see!

Here are a few of the shots that Emily so kindly took for us at the party!  She has a wonderful eye for some awesome shots and just captured Reagan's entire birthday for us, so we could enjoy the fun and not have to worry about missing a sweet picture!  There were a lot I loved and this is just a few!  Thanks to everyone for being apart of Reagan's first year of life!  We appreciate everything of everyone!!!  And I can't wait to do it ALL OVER AGAIN NEXT YEAR!!!!!

First Birthday Fun!

All dolled up in the yummy icing off her mini cake!  she was completely BLUE afterward!... and she left her hat on, I was shocked!

I was very pleased with how my "Gymbo" (the Gymboree clown) cake turned out!  Publix did an excellent job in doing exactly what I wanted and it was delicious!

More picture of Reagan's First Birthday!

This was the most special gift by Aunt Alyson- she passed down to us, a rocking chair that was Adam's when he turned ONE (it was red then) Alyson had it for Ava and then re-painted it for us and monogrammed it.  The cutest little chair EVER!  Reagan will sit in it and rock, very sweet!  It is now up to me to hang onto it for the next 20/30 something years until she has a little one!  :)
Reagan has been really into music lately and for her bithday I bought her a drum set with all sorts of LOUD musical instruments to play- loves it, can't you tell!?  I've tried posting a video of her playing them on Christmas morning, but "blogger" isn't allowing me to upload it for some reason- hopefully I can figure it out!

This picture below of Reagan eating cake, is very special to me because my friend Tiffany made these green and pink cakes to match my invitations for my Baby Shower in Oct. 2007- she suggested that we freeze a few cakes and eat them on her first birthday (like a wedding anniversary sort of)- I have had those frozen for over a year, and was so excited to get to eat one again!  They turned out very yummy, and this was Reagan's first time to eat cake and she sure loved this and then really proved her love on her birthday!!

I'm not real proud of my blogging abilities these past few months, since I have been so busy, I just have not blogged like I should- And once I got back into it, I didn't have all the pictures I would have liked to use- (since some were on Sarah's camera!)  I will soon be done, "updating" and be able to get on with what we've been doing around here- but there's still a lot of hype over her FIRST birthday- there will never be another one like it, so I'm sad to let it go I guess!  ;)

Pictures from Aunt Sarah!

Aunt Sarah got some really great pictures when she was here in December and I am just now uploading them but wanted to share of our fun visit to Universal Studios!

Several months ago Shrek came on TBS and I recorded it thinking Reagan would enjoy watching some of it- I was WRONG, she didn't just enjoy watching it, she LOVES it!  We have probably seen that movie 35 times (not all the way through of course- but most of it!)- While at Universal we met with Shrek (creepy) and the Donkey- he actually talked in Eddie Murphy's voice but TO US!  He talked about Reagan, wished her Happy Birthday, everything- very neat for kids, we were impressed!!!
A favorite picture of mine of Reagan and Sarah in a play area.
A not so happy Carter, interested Reagan, and a Woody the Wood Pecker!  (zoom in- very funny)
This picture was another favorite b/c it just so happened that he head fit right in!  Very sweet!
