Survival Swim Lessons!

Reagan started a survival swim lesson course March 1st that will continue for 4 weeks M-F (everyday). It is a huge commitment for both of us, but I am already THRILLED that we have started this, she LOVES going and LOVES her instructor!

I couldn't be happier that she LOVES to swim SO much! We will hopefully be moving into a new home (with a pool) at the end of April, and I think I'll have my (warmer) days cutout for me in the pool- but why do you buy a house with a pool if you're not going to use it!? :) I can't wait!
So far in four days she has LEARNED how to float on her back, flip over onto her back from a swim, and locate the wall/stairs- in the above picture she is wearing flippers to help her master kicking while swimming-

PIG ROAST!!!

Adam shot a pig with his bow last weekend and he is really excited to roast it while his parents are in town visiting soon! ... Hope it's good, b/c he sure looks NASTY!

Sunglass Queen!

There are SO many ways to wear sunglasses!

Fashionable.................

...................Upside down................ (Let me just note, these two pictures are from two DIFFERENT days, and she would be in the same shirt BOTH days- clearly it's a battle I choose not to fight!) :)
............OR Glam!

First Dentist visit-

Now that we are 2 years old, it's time to start getting serious about our teeth. A friend of ours that is a Pediatric Dentist, AND cleans mine and Adam's teeth wanted to see Reagan after she turned 2- Reagan LOVES to brush her teeth, we use an electric toothbrush with kids' MINT toothpaste (which the dentist told me to start using on her to make dentist appts easier as she gets older)- So, I thought the dentist would be a BREEZE- I had it all planned out- we had talked about it a few days before, practicing "AHH" keeping out mouth open wide, etc. and I was going to get a cleaning FIRST so she could watch and see that it's just fine! But as soon as it was her turn- she WOULDN'T open her mouth!
She ended up just getting a quick look through and got to wear some cool "protective eyewear" and she dug through a treasure chest- ... maybe she'll open in about 6 months- .... that's what I'm hoping for- BUT in the meantime, she has a really bad over-bite due to her sucking her thumb, and we've been instructed to stop the thumb sucking! NOT EXCITED ABOUT THIS ONE!

MugShot school picture-

Reagan had her FIRST school picture taken a few weeks ago, and THIS is what we got from it! This is what I like to call.... a MUG SHOT- She looks quite unhappy, and that stray hair hanging, makes it even funnier!
The teachers said she didn't want to participate and smile, but I thought, "Oh Please, I'm sure it's beautiful!" - Well, the teachers WERE right! LOL! But she still looks like a little porcelain doll to me! ....Just a very unhappy one!

(BTW this isn't the greatest copy of the picture- I didn't buy one but they gave out complimentary bags with their photo on it, so this is a picture of her picture ON a bag... if that makes sense!)

BIRTHDAY DAY WORLD!!

BIRTHDAY WORLD!!!
This is a place, that you can have a Birthday party at, OR just go to play any day!
$5 for unlimited Rides and Bounce Houses! It's a NO-Brainer!!!
It's basically a little fair in a warehouse- (so who knows how safe these rides really are... eek) BUT the catch is, the child must be 2 to ride, and HAS to ride ALONE on the rides- ....... did you think I would have trouble getting Reagan to ride anything?...... I think NOT!- she rode EVERYTHING, and would just walk off saying, "Bye Mommy!" (Little Miss Independent!)
Below are a few rides she rode, and LOVED! The Train she is in, is actually a ROLLER COASTER! She is going to be my little daredevil!

It's quite a scary "coaster" for a 2 year old! And it went REALLY fast! You may not be able to tell from the picture, but if you double click on it, to make it larger- this center rod looking thing, is basically all that is holding this coaster together- ... again I say, I'm not sure how SAFE this was, but it was FUN! LOL

Cover Models!

Reagan and I shot the cover for a local "Moms Like Me" magazine back in November for the January issue and it turned out SO cute!
The bottom picture is the photo that was inside the magazine talking about the article, "staying fit for the new year!"
