Growing up........

After putting Reagan down for bed tonight, I am certain that she is cutting the top teeth now.  UGH!  Poor baby, I can only imagine how painful that is.  She won't let me see them, but when I tried to feel earlier, I think I felt something.  We'll check back in a few days to see.  But, this little girl is such a bundle of joy!  Every morning when I take her out of her crib, I love to see her smiling face- just waiting to get into something new! Adam made the comment yesterday, that he thought she had grown in just the amount of time he hadn't seen her since being at work. And the girls at the gym (that watch her while I workout) said they don't want to see her grow-up anymore.  One girl remembered when I brought her in for the first time, when she was such a "baby" (which was only a month and a few weeks ago), but now she says she has gotten so much more mature in the face- and of course mobile.  It's sad to see my baby girl grow up.    ...... Ok, I'll quit!  :)

Lately, her new thing is to crawl into the kitchen a get into Miami's food bowl. And what is so funny about it is recently, Miami has gotten to be really territorial of it and she comes running to her bowl if she hears the slightest sound of Reagan playing in it.  (Side note: Miami won't ever eat her food, unless something is put in it, ie., cheese, chicken, treat, etc.) but, after Reagan has played with it, she eats every last bite!  It's so funny, as if she thinks Reagan will eat it up- and she doesn't want to share!  :)  (I'll try to get a pic one day of them playing with the doggie bowls together.)  Her bowls are silver, so I thought if I got out some pots and pans that were stainless steel that she would go for those, but, "Hello, Mom, those aren't the dog bowls!"

Just about a week ago, Reagan started doing this little ADORABLE head tilt when she is studying something or looking into a camera.  Adam pulled out the video camera to video her watching TV and she literally tilted her head to the side to look at him, and we just cracked up!  It was the cutest thing we had ever seen.  Now, she does it ALL the time!  (But, I just can't seem to capture it on camera)- this is as close as I could get, but a sweet picture anyway.  It's funny to wonder what she is thinking when she tilts her head to the side looking at things.  It is hysterical.

The luckiest woman in the world!

Adam found an awesome recipe for Lobster Linguine and decided to cook it up for us Friday night, with a little side salad, some sauteed shrimp, and red wine and Oh My Goodness, it was the most yummy thing I have eaten! He is such a wonderful cook!  He is the chef of the house, I need to work on my cooking habits a little bit, but how can I, when he makes such wonderful meals!  Oh, and get this, Saturday morning he made me a beautiful western omelet with strawberries and kiwi!  :) What did I do to deserve this TLC!?
I have to say, I am the most blessed woman in the world, to have such an awesome husband!  Thank you Adam, for all that you do for us!  We love you

"Let me OUT!!"

Another picture of her looking outside, I know, I need to stop- but they are just soo sweet!  Adam went outside to take a phone call the other day and she crawled over to the window and just watched and banged on the window at him.  Now that she can stand on the glass, (I'm not sure who she thinks she is, SpiderMan!?) she is doing it all the time to look outside.  Today she watched Miami out there again, and just banged and banged for her attention.  Guess she's not getting enough from me.   ....... Yea, right!

Our new toy!

I'm BAACCK!!  :)  Miss me!?  I know, I know- It's been wild around here, Monday we got our new phones and literally I have been doing EVERYTHING from that phone!  I almost was tempted to tell Adam to cancel the internet in the house- HAHA, this thing is awesome- it does anything you want and is soo stinkin' user friendly.  Then when I was ready to blog yesterday, Adam had the camera, and I hadn't uploaded anything new to the computer- BUT, now that I have uploaded- some of the stuff is missing...  :(  So, a REALLY cute video of Reagan is gone- I'll have to try to re-film what she did a few days ago to get it on the blog!)
But, this is a REALLY sweet video of her playing with her new toy I bought her last week. She just SQUEALS while playing with this!!
We had this in the preschool and the kids loved it (I did too, b/c I would sing it all day long to the kids)- it's perfect for a baby that doesn't stand yet (b/c the legs come off and then it just lays on the ground), and it is great for kids learning to pull up to the standing position.  (Which she is a pro at doing now!)  Enjoy the video- click PAUSE on the music on the right hand side, and then click PLAY to begin- TURN UP your volume!!

this is where I've been......

So, Adam and I had been needing new cell phones (you should have seen his, if you didn't it was a mess; cracked screen, etc. he was lucky that it lasted as long as it did!)  But, our plan with Altell was also ending and the closest Altell was about an hour away- which is ridiculous seeing that we live in a large city .
So, we decided since the new IPhone was coming out we would switch over to AT&T and get a good, fun, easy to use, (better for Adam's ability to conduct business), kind of phone.  And we got them and they are totally AWESOME!  Therefore, the reason you have not seen anything new from me would be this here phone!  Sorry to all of you, who have been waiting new pictures! I would be happy to blog some today (I have totally cute videos too) but, Adam has the camera, so it'll have to be either tonight or tomorrow!  Until then, I'll be playing on my new gadget!  Ta-Ta  :)

Rain, Rain, Go Away, Come again, another day-

Yesterday afternoon we had a down pour of rain and Reagan was curious about what was going on outside.  She has really gotten brave about her "pulling up" and she just stood up against the glass door.   We had a great day yesterday and she has just started talking a lot more (she likes to hear her own voice... loudly.) I had her in the pack-n-play back in our bedroom, while I was getting dressed and she was just giggling away at the fan while she was trying to stand up inside it.  It was super cute to hear her laughing with no one around her.  She is such a doll!

Oh, I wish I were...

Oh, I wish I were an Oscar Mayer Wiener,
That is what I'd truly like to be.
Cause if I were an Oscar Mayer Wiener,
Everyone would be in love with me!

Our first encounter with the Oscar Mayer Wiener car!  :)  Very fun!

Happy Birthday, Izzy!!!!

On a trip to Cocoa Beach, FL., we spotted this awesomely named Bistro.  No, we didn't eat there, we ate at a restaurant named Coconuts, but of course we had to take a picture for the blog! :)  Perfect in honor of our Izzy's birthday too!  We love you Izzy, hope you had a good Birthday!

Say What!?

At the church nursery, when I went in to pickup Reagan, the woman was like, "Oh, don't forget her paci."  Well, you're thinking like I was, "what paci?!"  She sucks her thumb... you've all seen it!  So, I looked, and she had a pacifier from our diaper bag (one I had stuck in there for emergency, when she was first born, not knowing if she would take to it or not.) So, anywho, I've figured that she is beginning to get those top teeth in (since she is drooling a lot more, and more fussy)- and she just likes to chew on it!  ...... Funny funny girl!

Swimmin' at the Mayos

Over the weekend we also took Reagan over to our neighbors "The Mayos" to swim!  They have a cute, fun, little pool that we wanted to try out, and Reagan's favorite part at the pool was the waterfall, she wasn't scared of it at all!

- Beware of bouncy video- it kind of makes you a little bit sick!  :)
Reagan LOVES shoes, and when Adam let his shoes float around the pool, Reagan really liked playing with them!  :)

... and the winner is......

SQUASH!!!

It is so strange, but Reagan is beginning to become VERY picky on her solid foods, and she really only will eat Squash.  (Adam and I both, are not big fans, so we think its really weird!)  So, she's not big on the fruits at all right now- no juices, or solids.  She still likes the yogurt melts (strawberry) but she's just not into anything else but Squash!  :)
We did a fun thing over the weekend though, we went to an Organic Gerber baby food party - and it was so much fun.  They provided several different kinds of (new) flavors for the babies to try and we got a bunch of samples!  It was a cool event for both Reagan and myself!  We had a great time!  Thank you Angela!!

Ahh! Yucky!

Reagan's wild hair after she puts her messy (baby food) hands in it while eating!

So, yesterday Reagan and I were playing on her new "ABC" foam mat, and I walked into the kitchen to get her sippy cup, and I walked back to the mat, and she was gone!  I started looking in her favorite places to crawl too, and she was no where to be found!  I could not believe that she had taken off that quickly, without me hearing her!  Anyway, when I walked down the hall I caught her in the guest BATHROOM, holding herself up on the TOILET!!! AHH!!  I FREAKED!  HAHA!  I grabbed her and she giggled at me- does this face look like it is up to any kind of good!?  :)  She's such a little MESS!

Look at these little teeth!

"Party in my Crib!!"

Make sure you PAUSE the music on the right side of the screen and then press PLAY on the movie clip to watch little Reagan standing in her crib!  I shot this video about 5 minutes ago after she woke up from her morning nap! :)

"Party in my crib 3am!"

7 months tomorrow!!

Picture taken December 24, 2007-  Only 5 days old!

Picture taken on January 19, 2008- One month old!

Picture taken February 4, 2008- Nearly 2 months old!

Picture taken March 18, 2008- Almost 3 months old!

Picture taken July 17, 2008- Almost 7 months old!

Can you believe it!?  Reagan will be the BIG 7 months old tomorrow!  It is unbelievable that just yesterday it seems like we were taking her home from the hospital. I thought it would be cute to blog a few comparison photos of Reagan in her chair then and now!  The size of her little pink chair has seemed to have shrunk now that she has grown up!  :)  I love this little chair- it was one I HAD to have, when I was pregnant and I used it nearly once a month for her little pictures- as you can see though, I must have started to get busy with other things since it looks like I have skipped a few months!  :)
Anyway, we are enjoying her so much!  Everyday gets more and more exciting!  This morning when I walked into her room, she was standing up (her usual thing) holding onto the crib rails, except this morning she was holding on one handed while sucking her thumb! HA!HA! It was really funny and cute!  Wish I could have caught a picture!  And when Adam was leaving for work this morning, Reagan crawled after him and he said, " this is when it gets hard, when I feel bad for leaving, as she watches me walk out.".... we figure it will only get harder, as she learns to speak and cries for us as we leave!  AWE!  A few other things that she started doing more of, is stroking her little silky blankets, and lovies.  She really isn't picky (yet) when it comes to a blanket preference- when she wants to suck that thumb and snuggle, she'll grab anything to stroke, even if it is a pillowcase!  She is has started snuggling more, which is just so sweet.  I cherish every snuggle and rock with her, b/c the more mobile she is getting the less of it I get!

WEIGH IN: I took her into the Dr. on Wed. morning (for a little check-up) and she weighed 15.03 lbs.  She is growing well, and everything looks and sounds good!  :)

Minute Maid Cherry popsicle

Sunday morning was a lazy day for us.  We all slept in and then took naps throughout the day- we must have all been very exhausted from the Disney day!  :)  Anyway, her is a sweet video of Reagan eating a cherry Popsicle. Adam gave her a couple bites and she just keeps coming back for more!  The look on her face when she gets the cold/cherry taste is priceless!  She is such a mess.  After he finished he gave her the wrapper to chew on and as you can see by the look on her face- she is extremely happy!

She is starting to stand up everywhere now.  We are getting our share of loud falls, but she just gets right back up again.  My little tough girl!  But, I have to add we had our first tantrum last night in the bath.  I normally put her in her little ducky tub to play for awhile and she just splashes around in the tub while I stay and watch, and then we bath and go on with our routine.  Well, last night she decided she didn't want to get washed.  When I stuck the washcloth in the tub she just started screaming and so I started to bath her, and she was screaming more- then I started washing her face and she literally (wish I had it on video) threw her arms up and down, shaking her head- having a full blown tantrum with screams neither one of us had ever heard!  HA! Adam came in to see what was going on, he said it sounded like I was doing something terrible to her, she was so mad!  I'm assuming there are plenty more where that came from- but the bath was cut VERY short, to say the least! That will be Daddy's job from now on!  ;)

Another trip to Disney......

What cute houses!
How cute does Adam look on the steps!?
...Looks like Reagan and I are about to walk up that hill!
Empire State Building!

So, its been another fun filled weekend at Disney World!  Adam and I had the urge to go out on Saturday and spend 1/2 a day at Disney to do the things we love, and eat at one of our favorite restaurants (Prime Cafe, in Hollywood Studios...... what use to be called MGM) This is one of our favorite restaurants b/c it is as if you were to step into Leave it to Beaver days and it is so much fun how they have it decorated!  The food though, is incredible!  We get the "Old Time Pot Roast" and it is YUMMY!
We started off the morning at Animal Kingdom and took Reagan on the Kilimanjaro Safari-  she loved the wind blowing through her hair (b/c by 10am it was beginning to get hot already!) and Adam got the whole Safari on tape- she enjoyed it and we loved to see all the animals.  My favorites are the Mama and Daddy Lions- they are so amazing!  After the Safari we drove over to Hollywood Studios to eat lunch and walk around.  It rained on us mostly the whole time we were at Hollywood, but we brought the umbrella and the rain shield for Reagan's stroller so we were set!  I had the sudden want to ride "Rockin' Roller Coaster"  The best ride ever!... and it has been about 2 years since I have gone on a roller coaster so it was time!  Adam waited patiently while I lined up in the single rider line and I thought I was prepared for this- but I was SO NOT!  I am still a little bit sore today, just from that ride!  HAHA!  I was screaming my head off next to this sweet kid from France- hope he still has hearing after riding next to me! Reagan took a nice 2 hour nap and so Adam and I were able to have some fun in San Fransisco, and NYC (as seen above)  I love how REAL they make this look!  We were bad parents and didn't get any pics of the little one, but we assure you, you'll see more!  ;)

"Come on!"

So, if you haven't thought I've known who Reagan looks like - you're CRAZY! I just thought posting the poll would be fun, but "Come on people!" Humor me a little bit here! This poll is looking pathetic...... on my part!- She does get a few things from me, like my hair (color), and my hair (color) ..... and my smile!

:)

Bath Time!

Over the holiday, Reagan experienced some new tubbie time!  Her Izzy gave her a bath in the BIG sink (for the first time), and then she took a bath in the BIG tub (without her little "tub in a tub") with her cousin Isabella.
Cute Cute!

Gimme Kisses!!

SLEEPING BEAUTIES....

Carrots and Yogurt!!

Carrot face!  :) It seems like carrots would have been one of the first food I would have tried, but for some reason they were pushed back in the back of the pantry, so we tried them last night and this was the fastest she has ever eaten a jar before! HA!  After finishing the jar soo fast, I fed her 1/2 a jar of Apples!  Yesterday was a little rough on Reagan.  As you may be able to tell from the photo, her eyes were dilated from an eye Dr. appt yesterday afternoon.  We (Pediatrician included) were concerned that she had an issue with her left eye being turned in just a little bit (more noticeable in pictures)- but after an interesting eye exam (how they can tell anything with mobile babies is beyond me) we found out that she has  Pseudostrabismus (something that means, "the eyes appear to be wandering but are actually straight.") So, he isn't worried, but noticed that she is a little far sighted (cannot see up close) in one eye (how he could tell that I have no clue!) and has an astigmatism  (and all of this could straighten out in a year.) So, we got a lot of info and won't have to go back until a year, unless things begin to get worse!

This video is Reagan trying the GERBER GRADUATES YOGURT MELTS (strawberry)- they are freeze dried yogurt, really tasty and she loves them!  But the melting part confuses Reagan. Don't forget to pause music and click play for the video!

"Look at what I can do!"

This is a pic of Reagan STANDING UP (YES!) STANDING UP in her crib one morning.  After our long car ride I guess she figured out that she didn't want to ride, sit, or crawl- she wants to stand!  "Oh dear, I have a little mess on my hands!"

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY EVERYONE!

IT'S BEEN A FEW DAYS SINCE I LAST BLOGGED! WE TOOK A LAST MINUTE TRIP TO ATLANTA TO SEE ADAM'S PARENTS LATE AFTERNOON ON THURSDAY, AND CELEBRATED THE FOURTH WITH THEM, THEN DROVE TO ALABAMA TO SEE SOME MORE FAMILY ON SATURDAY AND DROVE BACK HOME SUNDAY.  A VERY QUICK TRIP- AND LONG DRIVE (8 HOURS ONE WAY).  BUT WE HAD A REALLY GREAT TIME!  I HAVE TO KICK MYSELF THOUGH, FOR PICTURES OF REAGAN IN HER "FOURTH" OUTFIT- SINCE THE TRIP WAS SO LAST MINUTE, WHILE I WAS PACKING I FORGOT TO PACK IT, SO WE DON'T HAVE ANY PICTURES IN RED, WHITE AND BLUE!  ... BUT THE PHOTO ABOVE SHOULD COUNT FOR SOMETHING B/C IT IS SO SUPER CUTE! ;)   WE ATTEMPTED TO GO TO STONE MOUNTAIN, IN ATLANTA (THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW, LOOK IT UP- I DON'T KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT IT EITHER TO EXPLAIN) TO SEE A BIG FIREWORKS AND LASER SHOW, BUT AFTER DRIVING ALL THE WAY OVER THERE, IT WAS SO PACKED- (IT WAS ALSO THEIR 25TH ANNIVERSARY, SO VERY BUSY!) PEOPLE WERE HAVING TO PARK MILES AND MILES AWAY AND WALKING- SO WE CANCELED THAT IDEA AND WENT BACK HOME TO VISIT A LITTLE MORE BEFORE HEADING OUT FOR ALABAMA THE NEXT MORNING!... SO UNFORTUNATELY, REAGAN DIDN'T GET TO SEE ANY FIREWORKS FOR HER FIRST FOURTH OF JULY- BUT SHE CAN SEE THEM ANYTIME AROUND HERE, SO THAT IS GOOD!
IT WAS WONDERFUL SPENDING THAT HOLIDAY WITH FAMILY. HOPE EVERYONE HAD A GOOD ONE!

Kitty shoes......

A good friend of mine in TX sent me these kitty ROBEEZ for Reagan before she was ever born, and I was dying for her to finally wear them, and she fits in them now!  :)  Thanks Jen for the adorable shoes!  .... Oh, how I love pics of her cute little footies!

"All I want for Christmas is my TWO FRONT TEETH"......Oh, yea, I already have those!

PRUNES and PEAS!!!

There's a FIRST for everything....... more "firsts" on foods!  Reagan had a jar of PRUNES (yuck!) at her Izzy's and Poppy's house, and loved them.  And then Monday night she had PEAS, and surprisingly enough, she loved those too!  She is still continuing to love ALL the baby foods (except for Apple Sauce, which blows my mind.... but not liking one is better than not liking several!)

Angel Baby!

How could you EVER say "no" to this adorable face!  :)
Thanks for the great picture Ashley, you're so good with photos!
*This was taken at a friend's house on Thursday July 3rd...... a couple hours before we left to go to Atlanta for the weekend....... very spur of the moment trip, which explains why I have yet to blog for nearly a week!  I'll be catching up soon!

My first PEARS

We tried pears the other day and they were a hit, as is all the "baby" food!  (It's a clear color, so its hard to see; but as promised- a pic of every food, colorful or not!!)  :)
**Thank you for the cute bib, Shanda- very fitting!**

My new pal....

Reagan is completely smitten by Miami's presence, and whenever she walks into a room, Reagan crawls to her, (Miami runs away quick, since her poor hair has been pulled many times), but I caught this cute picture of Reagan at the sliding glass doors peeking at her new furry friend!

She made it into the kitchen!

Today was the first day that Reagan crawled into the kitchen!  :)  She has always crawled over to where it split from hard-wood to tile, but would never cross over- and this morning I had the red laundry basket in the kitchen (which is her favorite) and she just crawled all the way in without even thinking about it!  YEA!  I was so proud of her!  My little bit is growing up and getting around more and more each day!!

Butternut Squash

Butternut Squash was introduced Sunday night for dinner and she loved it! I wasn't sure she would b/c I'm not a huge squash fan, but she gobbled it all up!! :)  I have a VERY good eater!

Sleepy Head!

This was what Reagan looked like when we pulled into the drive way on Saturday after a long day playing at Downtown Disney with her family!  How sweet and peaceful does she look!?
(I can't stand it though, when he head falls over like that! It seems so uncomfortable!)
