Reagan and her cousin Ava

Izzy sent these pictures as two of her favorites from the weekend that she came to stay with Adam while I was in Savannah- I loved them equally as much and thought they needed to be blogged!  So Sweet, Sally!  Thanks for the cute pictures!

Face Book Frenzy-

OK, OK, I know the majority of my "blogger" friends/family want to kill me, because I'm not blogging enough!
I never have a chance to do it anymore during nap time like I use to- and now, I am officially addicted to Face Book!  I swore I would never join- and now that I have, I see why, I should have never joined!  BTW- if you're on there- add me as a friend!  ;)

My promise no longer stands to update EVERY DAY, but once a WEEK!  I promise to update when I can but at LEAST once a week!  ..... The Lord only knows how quick I'll be when I have other kids one day- AHH!  :)

Love,

Kristen

Green Meadows Petting Zoo- Today!

So we went with a few friends and a new Orlando's "Mom's" group to the Green Meadows petting zoo in Kissimmiee, FL. this morning- and it became more of a look and see the animals, rather than, a "petting" the animals kind of thing- since Reagan wasn't walking, I just kind of let her be a spectator, she loves animals so I knew she would like it- I had a hard time, however, getting any shots of her looking at the animals-

At the end of the "tour" (around the "zoo")- you get to pick out a pumpkin- there were sooo many pumpkins- so, of course we had to have another "mini" photo shoot!
This picture was Reagan's face as she watched the kids chase after VERY LOUD Geese running around the pin.  HAHA!  She looks pretty intense!
During the "tour" we took a little break to let the kids (Reagan's friends, Carter, and James) swing- Reagan loved watching Jenny and Carter act silly when she was swinging up towards them!

We had a fun day!! Thank you Lord, for the health and the ability to get to go out and experience new things together.

Gymboree Part 2-

More fun at Gymboree- She just loves tunnels- and climbing over, on and in stuff!  She is learning so many "brave" tasks here at Gymboree- last week she climbed over her little pink chair..... Oh goodness girl!

Sick Days at the Haynes......

This "sick" thing, seems to be reoccurring here at the Haynes household- Adam came home early from a business trip in Canada last week due to a poison ivy outbreak, causing him to have his left eye swollen shut!  It was some scary stuff- he was very contagious, so we had to keep away from him until his medicine dried it all up!  This was tough to do with Reagan, b/c she wanted to be with him every time she saw him- He was better by Sunday and not contagious anymore, and feeling and doing fine now.
But Monday morning I went in to wake Reagan up (at 9am)- (she is a super late sleeper).... nice!  :)  and she had thrown up in her crib and had really "yucky" diapers (mom's, you know what kind of diapers I mean).  But, she was standing up happy as a lark!  It was so strange- I watched her that day, and she seemed fine, ALL day- continuous "yucky" diapers- but acted fine- Dr. says it was a viral thing going around and she should be fine as long as there is no more throwing up- so we just took it easy all day and lounged!  Look at how big she looks in this chair!

Epcot's: Food and Wine Festival

Sunday afternoon was so beautiful, the high was around 76 and we decided (after being cooped up inside, due to Adam's poison ivy outbreak....)- we needed to get out and go try out the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot.  We couldn't have asked for a better day with the weather- and when we got there, I wanted to try on this Goofy hat on Reagan's head- this picture looks like one part Reagan and one part Goofy- it took up her entire head!  But, funny thing was, I put on Minnie Mouse ears, and started singing and dancing, and Reagan giggled and her eyes lit up- like she recognized the Mouse ears! (We watch Mickey Mouse Club House regularly.) I wanted to have her meet Mickey but the lines were too long- we opted to do what WE wanted to, at a theme park, while we still had the chance...... since in about one year, she'll be making the calls! But we watched them sign autographs through a window and she seems really excited to see them!  Would have liked to have seen them up close- but maybe another day!  :)   So, the food and wine was fun- but not all it was cracked up to be- Reagan got restless at the end of the day, so I gave her my EMPTY champagne flute- and she enjoyed trying to drink from it!  :) Thought it made for the perfect "Food and Wine" picture!!!

Carter's 1st Birthday Party!

Saturday, October 18Th 2008- Reagan's friend Carter turned ONE YEAR OLD! We helped him celebrate his BIG birthday and had a blast!

"I think I can, I think I can, I think I can....."  Reagan loves to "walk" while pushing OTHER people's toys- but she really doesn't do much pushing at home....  :) but she sure does look cute here though-
Reagan and her friend Grace- all grown up in Carter's new Radio Flyer wagon

Reagan in the "mini" ball-pit!  She loved being in here- chewing on all the balls, and just hanging out!

Pumpkin Patch Part 1

"Hey, Mom! There's a STRAWBERRY out in the Pumpkin Patch!!!"
:)

So, last Thursday, Laci, Jen, me and the kiddos- met up at the Pumpkin Patch for a "mini" photo shoot of the kids!  I wasn't sure that I would get another chance with all these pumpkins, so I had to take a few changes of clothes- just to make sure I got her in some "fall" looking outfits!  (Truth be told, I bought the long sleeved dress just for these "fall"ish, pictures, even though it was around 80 degrees- I wanted to make it look "fall" outside!  :)  I also had to attempt the Halloween costume, (which is a strawberry) and she wasn't upset about being in it at all!  We had a lot of fun, and took our little pumpkin home- that we will need to soon carve!  :)

Posts below......

Well, I'm back!  It seems like I update about every two weeks now with being so busy, and then I update EVERYTHING that went on within those two weeks in one night!  :)
Unfortunately, the posts don't go in order correctly so they are from last to first- so PLEASE scroll down for the correct order of days!   :)  (Hope that makes sense)

Blog ya' later!

Savannah the Ghost town-

Our Sunday was pretty much packed with Paula Deen stuff, but after the tour we walked around to more shops and our evening ended fairly early due to rain and just being pooped from all the walking!  Once it got dark though, we were pretty lost so we met a super nice girl walking our direction home, with her dog Pedro, and so we got some more of a history lesson from her on our way home-
We DO believe that we will find many pictures like this one below, - with "orbs" (if they ARE real) in the background since Savannah was filled with ghosts- we were glad not to have had a ghost experience but, I DID find this picture, and its CREEPY!!!!!   Who knows!!

Fun stuff-

I tried to get creative with some of my pictures of my drinks- and here were a few-
We tried the Almond Joy Martini (which was Delicious) and the Orange Chocolate Martini- (which we purchased at LuLu's Chocolate Bar (pictured above with the umbrella)- this is a must stop at place for either a drink and dessert, or just a drink/dessert!  It was very cute and local.  And the Almond Joy was from another local #1 bar and restaurant called Jazz'd - if you are planning on going to Savannah you must try these places!  :)

The Paula Deen Tour, Sunday morning-

I'm sure if you ever watch the Food Network, you have seen her, her sons, her husband, her show, and maybe even heard the HYPE about her restaurant; Lady and Sons- so, if you have heard of Lady and Sons, than you know that this restaurant is almost impossible to get into unless you have a reservation (of 15 plus) or you wait in a line that literally wraps around the street!  And because Kobi and I LOVE Paula Deen so much, we wanted to get a guaranteed seat at her restaurant and therefore, we signed up for the "Paula Deen Tour!"
Now, if you click the picture below to make it bigger, you will see that we were the youngest two on the bus by about 45 years!  .........  it was interesting!........
(It continued to pour down rain all day Sunday... hence the poncho)
Our second stop on the tour (b/c first stop was a candy shop at about 10am)- was her brother's restaurant "Uncle Bubba's Oyster House"- here I am posing with Paula's hot sauce- and if you look at my plate, you can tell that we ate a lot of food!  And it was absolutely delicious!
And look- We even got to meet her!!!!!!!  Josh, Kobi's husband asked Kobi (after seeing the pic texted to him) said, "what was it like to pose with a cardboard Paula Deen?!"  :)  We thought we could fool them, apparently not!
The tour ended after about 4 hours of learning about her life- and it was very interesting but being the youngest ones we were picked on quite a bit for some reason- we visited her first home where she raised her sons, the hospital where her sons delivered "the bag lady" bagged lunches, her produce stand, and where she got married to Micheal (he husband now)- she is an amazing rags to riches story and we would have loved to have met her- but we were siked about eating at her restaurant until they told us it closed on Sunday and we probably wouldn't get a reservation (even though we were on the tour)- what crap!- so we called to try to get in, and like REALLY old folks, we had a reservation for 4:30pm for DINNER!
Unfortunately, I can't tell you that we had the pleasure to eat her food, b/c we chose not too- by the time 4:30 rolled around, we were still very full from her brother's restaurant that we chose to do more shopping instead- but maybe next trip!  :)

Saturday in Savannah, Ga

These are two of many of the beautiful homes that surrounded our Bed and Breakfast.  We did get a picture of us in front of ours, but Kobi's digital camera, along with ours, was broken, so all we had were our IPhone, and a CHEAP outdoor disposable- and that was what we took the pic of us in front of our hotel on!
Anyway- we stayed in a home that was built over 100 years ago- there was a lot of history in that house and the man, Bill, who lived there, was very nice.

We arrived around 1pm (after about a 4 hour drive from Orlando) and we unloaded to find our "Bed and Breakfast" consisted of bagels, O.J., Milk, packaged muffins, and cereal boxes.  We were a little disappointed with that, considering when I spoke with Adam on Saturday morning, that were eating bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy, the whole nine!  But, after unpacking a bit we took off for a long walk in the rain- but with an umbrella offered by Bill, the "inn-keeper"- he told us that it was left at his B&B by Garth Brooks after he stayed there- and a few other celebs that had graced their presence there, were Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake- ...hope they got more than a bagel and some O.J.!      :p
We found that our "inn" was a lot farther than planned, but we walked more- until we got some names of great places to eat and shop.
Our first stop was a little pub called Six Pence- were we had a little snack, then continued on shopping- we had reservations for dinner on the River but ran into a nice couple about 3 hours later who steered us to a restaurant called The Old Pink House- We had a delicious dinner, and then walked some more around town and considered taking the "walking ghost tour" (Savannah is one of the oldest cities in the US and is haunted by many ghosts)- the rain was just too messy that we decided not to! And we called it a night.......

Saturday arrival in Savannah, Ga!

The beautiful Forsyth Park!  (We do believe that the scenes of Forest Gump on the bench "Lifes like a box of chocolates" was filmed here- we wanted to take the "movie tour" to see where areas of Savannah had been in the big screens, but it rained the entire time we where there! Except for about an hour here and there- at least we were able to catch a couple of pics while the sun came out!

The bottom photo was taken at a toy store on River street- where many restaurants, and shops are... on the RIVER- of course I had to stop in this shop to look for Reagan!  I didn't find anything for her, but I found these awesome Kanye West shades! ... my favorite part of this picture is the Giraffe in the back!  :)

Bye Bye Mommy!

Kobi and I had a Girls Getaway trip planned for the weekend to Savannah, Ga.  No Baby, No Husband, No Chores,  No Responsibility..... well, just to come home!  :)
This was my first time away from Reagan for two days in her entire life!  My sister-in-law, niece and Izzy all came to help Adam while I was away, so I felt extremely comfortable with leaving her, and the entire time I was gone, they sent pics of her smiling and having a ball!  They told me she never cried once- she was a wonderful little baby!
... But, I DID miss her terribly!

*Anyway, this picture was while we were driving away!

Pink! Pink! and more Pink!

My Best Friend Kobi came to visit this past week and this was one of my favorite pics of the whole time she was here!  (Probably because little Reagan looks so cute in that hat ( it is actually on her head), and she is smiling so big!)
This was last Friday and we all went to Disney World!  :)
This was the first time, since the 3rd grade that Kobi had been to Disney World!

What!?

Now that Reagan is learning how to climb, etc. at Gymboree- she is getting braver about what she does!  Our daily routine is to unload the dishwasher, and she is always very helpful about taking out the silverware, and tossing it on the floor for me- but this particular day (after a Gymboree class, last week)- she actually climbed into the dishwasher and sat there! ... and I later found that spoon in my dirty clothes hamper too!  What a little mess!

Gymboree Class-

We signed up for Gymboree about a month ago (which is a music/play class created from the store Gymboree)- we love this class, it is once a week and she just loves it!
Her favorite part about Gymboree is "Gimbo" (who is sitting behind her in this first picture) he is a clown (which I loathe, but she just adores!)  These are a few pictures from today and last week at class!

Todays class was about "sounds" so Reagan was hearing sounds while beating the drums!

Free Motion Elliptical-

Please be on the look out for the Free Motion's  ALL NEW Elliptical coming out soon!

A few weeks ago, I shot a commercial in Tampa for this company and it should be a pretty funny, yet embarrassing commercial- and I'm assuming since it's going to be SO embarrassing for me, it will air often!  Oh NO!  :)
I am basically with my "mom" (who is only about 12 years older than me, and looks like she could be my sister) and we are shopping at a mall, and she has lost so much weight "Thanks to the Free Motion Gym" that she can now fit into my clothes!  .... but the lines were totally cheesy and just wait, you'll see my embarrassment at some point!

Halloween

This is the best picture I could get of Reagan in her Strawberry Halloween costume! She really wasn't to thrilled about it, when I tried it on her- but she sure looks like a sweet little strawberry!  Hopefully she will get use to the costume on the 31st so we can trick or treat!  :)

First trip to the Car Wash-

First trip to a car wash!  She seemed to love to watch the car getting clean!!

Playing with BOY friends at the park-

How fun is it to be a kid!?  We get to try all sorts of new things!  Here Carter and Reagan are eating suckers, and Reagan also eating some puffs with James- (I love her stuffing her face, and his puffs stuck on his belly!)
I love these babies!
