I am Blessed-

My Life can't get any better than this!

I have a wonderful, Loving, hard-working, provider and husband, a healthy, amazingly gifted, adorable, squeezable, bundle of joy; daughter,  a roof over my head, food to eat, a car to drive, and a God that loves and cares for all of us!  We are so blessed to have each other!  I thank the Lord, each and every day!

Splish, Splash, I was takin' a bath......

"HaHa, Mommy- that is such a funny hat on my head!"

"Woah!, I don't know how much longer it will stay on!"
(AWESOME Action shot, Mom!)- Ah Oh!  I fell off!  :)

My First Bubble Bath!

I bought us some fun, kids bubble bath for Reagan to play with, since she showed an interest in it the other day when I had to wash her hands and she played with some soapy dish soap in a bowl soaking- ..... In this picture though, she wasn't to fond of the bubbles- she inhaled a bunch and got very mad- that'll teach ya!  :)

"Yay, for my top teeth!"

I was able to get some "cheesy" grins from Reagan today, in order to get some pics of these new teeth that have so lovingly graced us with their presence!- I'm glad that they came through before we were on the plane to TX annoying everyone with "teething pains!"  Yikes!

"My new ride!"

Adam and I decided that Reagan needed a toy that she could push around to start practicing walking- so Momma went out and came home with the most awesome Princess car there is!  It lights up, plays music (very loudly and annoyingly), and even has all the Disney Princesses as babies on it!  :)  Reagan loves to ride on it, and also likes to push!

...P.S.- she is wearing this Michigan State onesie for our neighbors!  That is where they went to school and they brought us back all something to support their team- Reagan wore this outfit the second part of the night while "partying" at their house for the football games!

Go Bama, Go Bama, Go Bama, Go!!

First Game Day of the season, and of course this house was all "bama!"  (Don't worry, my wonderful TEXAS friends, I still root for ALL TEXAS teams too!)
Reagan's cousin, Ava passed down this adorable little outfit that fit perfectly, and looked so sweet on Reagan.  Our neighbors are HUGE college football fans, and they have a big party nearly every Saturday- it's called "football Saturday's" around these parts- so we visited awhile and played.  Poor Reagan, didn't make it to the start of her first Alabama football game, but maybe next weekend!
Yumm, I'm just going to eat a little bit of my (new) Princess cell phone!
ROLLLLLL- TIDE!!!!!!     ROLL!!!
"I Love you, AL"- Reagan, with her little "Big Al, the Elephant" puppet- on Game Day!

I'm going to get you my pretty.... and your little dog too!"

For several months now, Reagan has been totally into Miami (the dog, for those new to the blog), but Miami is about sick of it! HA!  She will do whatever she can, to hide away from her.  Reagan recently started showing an interest in looking UNDER things-  which is what we were doing here- under the kitchen table, trying to get to Miami- who doesn't look too thrilled! (And the look Reagan is giving at the top- was right after Miami barked very loudly at her!)  HAHAHA!- "that's what you get little girl!"- that is probably what Miami was thinking!

Working with Daddy

Just about every morning, Adam gets these big, black cases with medical equipment for his surgeries (Tues and Thurs) and this particular morning he received about 5 big, black, cases!  Reagan was really into them, so I had to take a picture of her helping Daddy with his "work stuff."  :)

(She just started standing with no hands last week, (for a short moment), and this picture sort of shows her trying to stand up without hands.)

Top Teeth!

They are coming..........  Both top teeth are on their way- I'd give them to the end of the week, before they are popped out- I swear this is taking soo long for these to break through!  She has been super good about her teething!  No waking up at night, but just sometimes fussy thorough out the day!  She is such a tough little thing!

Strike a Pose

Another picture of Reagan in a pretty dress!  She would prefer to be in something easier to get around in- but for church I put her in this sweet dress from her Izzy.

Mommy and Big Girl Reagan!

On our way to church Sunday morning-

CHEESE

I finally got a picture of Reagan's new silly, smiley face!  She has this hilarious grin- all the time, but I can't seem to ever get it on camera!  I finally got this cheesy grin, and I'm so happy!  :)  She is so funny!
Saturday night I was having a craving for Mexican food, so we went out to a restaurant and I ordered Reagan a side of Guacamole (which is her favorite!)  and while feeding it to her (in a highchair, like  a big girl- I might add)- she started making this CRAZY face, and a small piece of jalapeno came out of her mouth!  Poor Baby!  I had no idea that was in there!  She made some faces for awhile to get the taste out, and her eyes watered a little bit- but I gave her something to stop the burn, and she was fine.  No tears or complaints- just faces!  :)  I felt so bad, but now we know, she's very brave! And just like her mommy- she loves hot stuff!  HA!
We also fed her some rice and beans!  She seems to love it all!  I am a mexican food lover, so it looks like she will be too!

First time to swing!

Saturday was FINALLY sunny!  It stopped raining for the first time in like 5 days, due to Tropical Storm Fay- so, Saturday I woke Adam and Reagan up and we packed up and went to the park!  This is the Community Dr. Phillips Park, that has a "splash zone" and playground.  The "splash zone" was just an area that water squirted out all over the place (something Reagan would have loved), but they closed after we got there.  :(    Anyway, it was Reagan's first time to swing and she wasn't totally sure about it at first, but started showing some HAPPY emotions, and she even reclined a little, with one leg up on the swing!  :)

More blogs to update soon!

Until then, here's some pretty BLUE eyes to gander at!!

I am babysitting one of Reagan's friends (Trinity) today and they both happened to take a nap at the same time this morning- NICE!  So, I only had a few minutes to get A LOT done, and now, I here little Reagan, "BA! BA! BA! BA!" in her crib!  Better go!  But, I promise to blog more later!

"Da-Da"s

Sunday morning she said it- "Da-Da".  We were waiting for Adam to pick us up after church and she was a bit fussy, and started babbling on and on, and out came the words "Da-Da".  Then we were at home while she was said it again, "Da-Da", this time she WAS with Daddy, so it made it very special for Adam!  :)

Her favorite word though, right now- is "BA-BA-Ba-Ba"- she REALLY has that down!  And she'll say the occasional "Ma-Ma", but not like she knows what it means, just new sounds!  But she likes to say them a lot!  :)

Dancing Queen

(I HAD videos with this post- but BLOGGER is having trouble uploading them!  Sorry!)
My little dancing Queen is so funny- EVERY TIME music is played she bounces up and down.  She LOVES music, so we play it all day in the house! Over the weekend we had to pick out a card for her daddy's birthday (which is the 29th) and she danced in the cart- (that was something else new, she sat in the cart for the first time like a BIG GIRL, and LOVED it!) she danced to all the Hallmark cards that play music, it was the funniest thing!  I found myself dancing along with her!  We looked hilarious, I'm sure- but who cares!  :)  "GOTTA DANCE!!"

I have signed her up for a KinderMusik class called, "Sign and Sing" and it incorporates "Baby Signs" with music- I'm really getting big into these baby signs so she can communicate before she actually knows how to talk!  It should be a wonderful thing, once she starts to learn the signs!  Our first class was last Thursday- it is every Thursday for 5 weeks.  We learned so much and I cant wait to take her back this next week!  I'll try to get some on video, or pictures, but it is so important I pay attention, I'll have to learn the signs, not take pictures!  :)

Spaghetti Mess

Our little darling daughter is not very polite when it comes to food.  It doesn't seem to matter if she is hungry or not, if anyone around her has food, she WANTS to eat it!  Over the weekend we visited our neighbors for dinner and Liz was holding Reagan and eating a chocolate chip cookie, well without the blink of an eye, Reagan reached over and grabbed her cookie- COMPLETELY out of her hands and put it right in her mouth!  We laughed so hard it was hilarious!  Her hand was covered in chocolate.  ........ all girls love chocolate, don't they!?  :)

Now, this next story has to do with another snatching of food- except it was Adam's dinner plate of Spaghetti last night.  He made us a wonderful dinner and when he sat down to enjoy it, "little fingers" went right over to his place where he was eating (we aren't being real good about eating at the dinner table, we've been eating on the couch to watch the Olympics)- and reached across the ottoman and got a hand full of noodles and sauce and put it right in her mouth!  (which the sauce had Tabasco on it!  YIKES!)- The Tabasco didn't seem to make her budge one bit, so we stuck her in her highchair to enjoy a little more noodles.

Tub time!

I just love this picture!  I was filling up the
duckie with water for her bath and she just loved to play with the "water-fall" of water coming down, (I thought she would be scared of the loud sound of the water rushing out, but she wasn't at all!)  so I pushed her closer and she just loved to splash in it!

*Note her little rash on her bottom, she has an allergic reaction to something over the weekend, we have no clue what- but it is now gone, thank goodness!

HAPPY 8 MONTH BIRTHDAY, BABY GIRL!

Reagan is the BIG 8 months old TODAY!  I can't believe that she was born 8 months ago- it really seems like yesterday when we brought her home from the hospital, and now she is babbling on and on, ("Baa Baa Baa Baa" Maa Maa Maa Maa"), crawling everywhere she wants to go, pulling up on EVERYTHING, and just recently started dancing to music!  She is such a joy and so much fun- she makes life so wonderful!
Today for her birthday, we will be hanging out inside watching the rain (all day) we are waiting for Tropical Storm Fay to blow through.  So, we'll be here holding down the fort!

The umbrella stroller

I finally went to get an umbrella stroller for "quick" outings that I really don't need the big stroller for.  So, I took Reagan and Miami out for a walk a few days ago, and she loved it!  She looks like such a big girl in it! I understood "umbrella" to mean with an umbrella (like a shade)- but it doesn't have one, so it's kind of dangerous having it here in FL with the FL sun, so I put her in this little hat!  Sweet girl!

Mom's night out!

Sunday night after Adam came home from a trip to Alabama to visit some friends, I had him watch Reagan while I went to a Bridal Shower for my good friend Ashley (right).  She will be getting married in Atlanta in October!  Congratulations Ashley!

Pictured with Gina (one of the hosts) and Ashley (Bride to be!)

I now have to take pictures of her in all of her little dresses because she can't move around in them! She has trouble crawling b/c the dress is all over her knees, and then she has trouble standing up b/c she is standing on the dress!  But, I had to show that she DOES dress up sometimes still!  :)  This is one of our favorite dresses (with fishies on it!)

Thanks Shanda for this adorable dress!

Self-feeding

We are working on "self-feeding". This top picture is her attempting to stuff all the dissolving puffs in her mouth.  :)  (whatever works, do it!)
The rest of these pictures are her just being our little cheese-ball posing in her high chair.

Independence....

Reagan has always been very independent on what SHE wants to do (which is very much like her mommy)  :)  So, as of Sunday morning- she no longer wanted to nurse.  Most of you may remember that she began refusing a bottle around 4 weeks old- which made it very difficult for me (having to be the one to feed her ALWAYS)- but as of this past weekend, she decided she wanted to do it herself and feed herself with a bottle!  WOW!  God is Great- b/c she was starting to BITE a lot while feeding!  OUCH!  :)  She will continue to drink breast milk until a year, but only by bottle or sippy cup!

My First Kiwi!

This morning Reagan and I went swimming for a few hours and came home and she took a 3 hour nap! After her nap I had cut some kiwi and strawberries for a snack and chopped some up for Reagan to try. We are in the process of learning how to self-feed and it is a very messy, but fun event! She is still having trouble figuring out how to grab the food off the tray but sometimes gets something in her mouth!
This was her first time to try Kiwi, and by the look she is giving, I'm not sure she's a huge fan- you be the judge.  :)
Click PAUSE on the music on the right hand side then click PLAY on the video- and turned up your volume!  :)

Reagan's favorite new look

Reagan's new thing right now is sticking out her tongue- all the time!  She looks so pretty, and silly here in her Princess dress (what she wears when we go to Disney) with that tongue!  I think it may be her way of figuring out those new teeth on the bottom- they have gotten so big!
