Hi!!

It's been another long while since I've blogged, and I know all you bloggers out there have been waiting for me to write, but I've done so good about getting other things done instead of blogging when I use to spend all my "nap time" here- now I NAP!  :)
Anyway, we are excitedly awaiting a visit from my Mom in one week, and then traveling to Atlanta, and Alabama for Thanksgiving and the Alabama vs. Auburn game, and then it will be time for my sister to come in Dec. and help celebrate Reagan's 1st birthday and then it'll be Christmas!  I can't believe that this year has already flown by!  We went to the mall tonight to see "Santa's landing" and the Christmas Tree lighting, and it just seemed soo early to be doing all this Christmas stuff!  We haven't even had Thanksgiving yet!  But, anyway, I always love to listen to the "Holly" station on my XM radio- Adam and I always get really excited when the Christmas music starts on the radio!  Which reminds me, I am busy right now doing the "Singing Christmas Tree" at First Baptist Church Orlando! I love singing and it's been awhile, so I get to enjoy that while Adam spends time with Reagan.
Enjoy the new updates, Blog ya' later!

Happy 1st Birthday James' Thomas!!

November 11, 2008- we helped celebrate Reagan's friend, James, celebrate his 1st birthday!  He had a birthday party at his house with lots of snacks, fun, friends, and cake!  !!!!  (Mommies favorite!)  :)
Reagan loved the ball pit (like she did at the past birthday party we went too!)  We'd love to get her one, if we had a place for it!  She'd probably spend all day in it! HA! The party was sports themed, so of course she had to support Tech with her little dress Aunt Sarah bought her!
She actually kept her party hat on long enough for a picture, so I got two!

"I gotta pickle, I gotta pickle! I gotta pickle, Hey Hey Hey Hey!"

Reagan's new favorite food is a pickle.  I am a lover of sour foods, limes, lemons, pickles, salt, etc. (which so is my mom and Izzy)- so it is no surprise that Reagan loves the sour!  But I gave her a bite of my pickle Saturday afternoon, (while we were celebrating the win for both Alabama and Texas Tech! "Go Teams!") and she took the whole pickle from me!  Adam and I were shocked she liked it so much!  so, I put her in her highchair, and gave her some skinny, long pieces to try and she gobbled them up!  She liked it a lot!
She has gotten very picky now about what she likes to eat- so whatever she likes, I let her have!  :)  Her outfit worked perfectly with pics about green pickles!

Coldplay concert

Heather and I went to the Coldplay concert last Friday night and it was so much fun!  We had a night to ourselves for the first time without kids... together, and it was so great!  We stopped at a really neat little restaurant called Citrus for a drink and appetizer, and then we headed over the concert.
I really wanted to go to the concert, but Adam is not a fan of Coldplay, so last minute Friday morning, we were searching for tickets for me to go with a friend. What a sweet hubby to help me find tickets for a concert, I was dying to see last min!  We happened to get some cheap tickets and the seats were HIGH, but we could still see everything and it was much more enjoyable where we were, b/c we had space in between other people- which made it much cooler!
Heather, Thanks for going with me!  We'll do it again soon!  ;)
*Please note: All pics were taken from the trusty iPhone, so the one of the two of us was AWFUL!  Double click and maybe you can see our faces! :)

Kindermusik Sign and Sing

At our Kindermusik Sign and Sing class we took several months ago, there was a photographer that came into the class to capture images of the kids interacting- I'm not sure how Izzy got this one to email, but if she could figure out how to send more, there were some other really good ones in that file.  But this is one of us learning how to say "ball"- she is so in tune!  I love it!

Fun with Friends!

Today we met up with some of our friends that we haven't seen in a long time, Jamie (mommy) and Trinity (baby)- Since we knew we would be seeing them for lunch this afternoon, we went to an earlier Gymboree class and had more fun in the tunnels, as usual- tunnels don't involve walking or climbing, ONLY crawling, and Reagan likes to do that! HA!  She seems very disinterested in walking right now!- but she loved sharing these fun spiky balls with a new friend she made at class today!
And this other picture is Trinity and Reagan looking through the glass at the Milena Mall. Some malls have fun "play areas" and this one doesn't so sometimes after a long time in the stroller, I'll let her out on the carpeted area around the tables and little sofas; and Trinity and her had a BALL together crawling around and talking, and they especially loved this glass window..... and meeting people with their friendly, smiling faces!
Mommy and Reagan in front of Cinderella's Castle on our way into Disney World! Yippee!
Mommy and Reagan by Cinderella's wishing fountain- This is one of my favorite pictures- how sweet is she!?
Passed out, after a LONG day at Disney World- (dreaming of big, gigantic, "TV stars")

My First meeting with a Disney character!

Saturday was such a beautiful day, and I have been dying to see Reagan's reactions to characters, so, we decided to take her to Magic Kingdom for a few hours- We took her on the "It's A Small World" ride, and she loved the music, colors, lights, etc.- we then saw Tigger and Winnie the Pooh outside, and we stood in line for her to meet them!  She didn't know what we were doing at first, but when she saw them, she about died! We watched both, Mickey, and Pooh every morning while she drinks her bottle, so to her, they were just huge "TV stars".  She jumped up and down in my arms, with excitement, and she grabbed at their ears, and noses, and even gave them special kisses- (shown here with Tigger)- I had to actually hold her back from crawling up to Minnie and Mickey while we were waiting in a room with another family to meet them- she was trying to get to them!  She even gave Mickey a kiss on his hand and I heard the person inside Minnie laugh, b/c it was so cute!
She absolutely loved meeting these guys!  Now, I know why it is worth saving up every dime for your kids to get to experience Disney- even at her age it is a treat! And we are fortunate enough to go anytime we want too!
Click on each image to get a bigger picture- these pictures are priceless!

Go Red Raiders!!!!!

Saturday was a HUGE football day for A LOT of people, but for my family- it was a HUGE Red Raiders day- we had to play University of Texas and we beat them!  It was an extremely tense, and close game- I'm sure most of you saw!  That afternoon we spent at Disney World and in honor of  Texas Tech, we put Reagan in her new, cute dress from Aunt Sarah!
Thanks Aunt Sarah!  We must have been good luck for the Raiders that day!

Reagan's First Halloween Fun!

Reagan's First Halloween (week) consisted of lots of parties and fun!  We went several times to different pumpkin patches around town, which were pictured before- and we had a big Halloween party at our Mommy/Baby Connection group- (these are moms and babies whom we have done stuff with all of Reagan's 10 months of life!) They are great friends and we had a wonderful  time! I didn't get any good pictures b/c I still don't have my camera fixed, so I just posted this one of us at one of the Pumpkin patches.
She had a really fun time getting to try new foods and playing with her friends (lots of talking too!)
We also took Reagan Trick-Or-Treating on Friday night with our friends Jenny, Carter, and little Carter (Reagan's buddy)- Jenny got some really great pics of them together in the wagon while we walked them throughout their neighborhood, so I'll have to post those later on- but they had a fun time getting to grab handfuls of candy- (which they can't even eat!)- the funniest thing about that night, was when they both had sticky fingers from suckers, and they would go to grab candy and it would all stick to their hands!  It was priceless, how it looked!  Very Sweet!
Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!!!

Teething pains, and Flu Shots-

(P.S.- not understanding why these aren't being placed in the order I put them, so they are SO out of order- Sorry!)

..... Story about pics below-
Publix balloon, after shot!
Reagan looking at her little naked body at the Dr. office- playing with one of those tonsil sticks. YUCK!  I hated those as a kid! I always knew what they were, when they were coming at me by the Dr,! HAHA!
Lounging on the couch late night (9:00pm) Teething pains-

We were up a couple nights last week with some teething "fits."  Unfortunately I couldn't find a cure except,  a little Motrin and some cartoons- :)  We let her hang out with us for about an hour in the living room on the couch to snuggle then we'd put her back to bed and that was that- she didn't wake up again!

I also took her in to get the second dose of her flu shot (which she has been very healthy, knock on wood, so far)- and she was such a little champ!  She just did a slight whimper after the shot and didn't cry at all!  She is super tough!  She weighed 17.3lbs- still a tiny little squirt, but tough!  :)  After the shot we went to Publix to get some groceries and they gave her this pink balloon in the picture- well, that lasted a total of about 2 min. before she popped it with her fingers!  That pictures was close to around the time she squeezed it!  HAHA!
