Bubbles!

Friday night we sat out in the backyard and played with bubbles.  Gymboree, and Kindermusik both sing different songs with bubbles and she just loves them.  So, I had been searching for them at the stores, and could not find any!  I finally found some while at Michael's Craft store (strange place to expect to find bubbles) but now we play all the time with them!  YEA! One of the songs we sing while playing with the bubbles is below-

"There are bubbles in the air, in the air"
"There are bubbles in the air, in the air"
"There are bubbles in the air, there are bubbles, EVERYWHERE!"
"There are bubbles in the air, in the air"

The Weight Gain diet-

Wed. was Reagan's 9 month "well" visit- She weighed 16.3lbs and was 29 inches long!  She had to get one part of the flu shot this month (the rest next month) and a finger prick.  It wasn't a pretty day at the Dr. for her- she was not a happy camper.  The Dr. is still wanting to get her "fatter" so we are directed to "sneak" in as many calories/ daily as we can, or she will allow.  She has told us to give her buttered bread- (as seen here in the picture- I just gave her an entire piece and she was stunned at first, but loved it!), french fries, pasta, sour cream, rice and beans, guacamole, etc.  you get the idea!  Don't we all wish this could be our diet!?  :)  We have some gaining to do!

Fun times with Friends!

Last Monday, Tracy, Jenny and I took the kids (Reagan, Grace, and Carter) to Universal to watch the BARNEY show!  The first thing we did after we walked into the park was ride the Dr. Seuss carousel.  The kids were a little bit confused about going around and round in circles, I figured it had to have been similar to riding in the car- watching everything pass by so quickly.

Adam had a late night working on Wed night and Jenny's husband was out of town, so we took the kids to eat Mexican food at Baldwin park.  We had lots of fun!  We got them a plate of rice- which Carter totally loved, and this was a cute picture of the two of them at the end of the table just hanging out enjoying life- Reagan just loves to "lounge" with her legs up!
Shot of Reagan's leg propped up on the table!

BIG mommy and LITTLE baby....

This is a fun one, because you can tell the difference in our sizes!

Adam is getting really creative with his photo taking abilities and he is getting all of these great shots with his iPhone!  We still have yet to get our camera situation squared away, that is prob why it takes me FOREVER to blog anymore!  :)  Anyway, these are some fun pictures of how little she is in the grass!  This football is almost bigger than she is!!!

Into the Tunnel

Last weekend we went to our friends' house for the GATORS game and Reagan had so much fun playing with all the kids!  They had a big giraffe tunnel and Reagan was brave enough to crawl through it!  I thought this picture was sweet! :)

I love this shot of Reagan looking back at Carter in the grass!  "Hey, Carter! Come in here with me!"  :)

9 months old....

Reagan is 9 months old, on September 19, 2008!  WOW!  I can't believe she is so big!  Everyday is more and more fun, and I just fall more and more in love with her little personality.  She found a ballerina wand in her room yesterday, and started playing with it, just like she knew what to do with it! :)  Kids are so smart! :)

We are on our 4th week of our 5 week course of Sign and Sing at KinderMusik, and she is loving it!  Every week, we learn multiple signs to help her learn to communicate easier, and they are lots of fun!  We learn most of them in song, so of course, we sing them all the time!

I also signed her up this week for Gymboree!  We went for a trial on Tues and just LOVED it! She literally screamed with joy, while she was there!  There was NO way, I wasn't going to sign her up!
They are in the stage where they get to crawl, and climb over all of the fun, colorful, padded "walls" and  "blocks"- and that is the best part to her, she is such a busy body, she enjoys climbing on the couch here at home, so I knew she would love the blocks to climb on.  They also sing and dance to silly songs with "Jimbo" the clown.  (I have ALWAYS been terrified of clowns, but she LOVES "Jimbo", she is always trying to get to him!)- maybe she won't have the same fear!  :)

I love you Angel- Happy Birthday!  These 9 months of your life have been a complete JOY, and BLESSING.

A day at a new park........

Tuesday morning, I met our friends Laci (mommy) and Sarah Grace (baby) at a new park down the street, called Shadow Bay.  There is a REALLY nice walking trail, about 1 1/2 long, and a really FUN playground!  Reagan got comfortable standing up near the slide, and the dinosaur- two places well shaded- even though it was about 9am, it was still almost 90 degrees!  Still too hot!  But the ground was a cool, cushion, kind of thing, that didn't get too hot for her little feet!  We also made a couple new friends there, and hope to continue to have play groups up at the park for days to come!

CHEESE!

Even though Reagan has been able to eat cheese since around 7 months, and she will be 9 months TOMORROW (I can't believe it!) .... I didn't know I could introduce cheese until recently, so I tore up a few pieces and sat them on her tray and she found a way to stuff them in her mouth!... very carefully!

"Ta-Da's"

Like Father, Like Daughter.......
Friday night we attended a BOWLING benefit and Reagan was super good!  We sat her up in her little highchair and gave her some pieces of CHEESE pizza, "puff's", and I fed her some baby food.  Her Daddy and I, both did very good at bowling, for it being such a long time since the last time we had bowled!
Anyway, when it got about 2 hours AFTER Reagan's BED TIME, she started getting sleepy.  Adam picked up her to hold her, and she started chewing on his shirt collar!  Now, the CRAZY thing about this story IS...... Adam use to chew on his dad's shirt collars, and he couldn't pronounce "collar" so it came out, "ta-da".   :)   I thought this was really sweet!....... Reagan, are you ever going to do anything like your MOMMY!?!?!? :)

Cheek full of "collar"

Being a big girl, eating her pizza crust!

If you need a SMILE- Look at our car......

This morning I took Adam's car (windows are not tinted like the Tahoe) to the gym and when we pulled up the a light, I noticed the car next to me just laughing it up!  I heard Reagan giggling and I looked in the back and she was just giving them (the car next to me) all sorts of funny faces, and smiles!  She is such a bundle of joy and light!  So, if you are ever having a bad day, just look at her,  She'll brighten it up!  :)

Cheesecake Factory

Last night Adam and I had the urge for Cheesecake Factory, so we packed up and went!  Reagan loves to do dinners when she is up in the action and in her very own high chair!  She ate a little bit of her own baby food, but mostly my salad!  My salad had fun little noodle things on top and she was trying to eat them, and would just reach over and help herself to my plate to get more!  She had such a huge mess on the floor and in her bib!  It was insane! (Better Cheesecake Factory and not my house!)  :)  I'll have plenty to clean up soon enough at my own house!

...She looks like a little chipmunk here!  "I hope no one is watching me!  I'm going to steal some more off Mom's plate!"

The funniest thing of the entire night was when the cashier brought out the check and called Adam, "Mr. Systems" under his breathe.  I couldn't help but laugh hysterically when I realized that he had read the end of Adam's business card- A&H Medical Systems    .......it was a trip!  I can't imagine him thinking that was REALLY our last name!  HAHA!

Dress up in Daddy's scrubs!

Adam threw his scrubs on top of Reagan yesterday and they literally went perfectly over her little head- that is her head in his sleeve hole!  :)  She thought it was pretty funny seeing that she couldn't move!

Home Sweet Home!

Reagan cheesing it up- back in her high chair!

6pm- Adam was feeding her a bottle and at her last sip, he said she just conked out.  She NEVER falls asleep when eating, or in someones arms!  She must have been exhausted
We miss everyone already, but we sure are glad to be home!  Thank you to everyone!  We had an awesome trip!  We love you all!

Bye Bye Midland!

Monday morning we made a stop at my (and now Adam's) favorite donut shop- T&T, we got some BIG soft drinks, and some pigs in a blanket, and I had to get my donuts- then we headed for the airport! This is a picture of Reagan and Sarah- their last picture together until prob. Dec! :(
These other two were our pooped little angel, sleeping on the plane.  A little thumb here, and not so much there!  :)  The flight attendant liked Reagan so much she carried her up the isles a little bit- for a change of scenery!

Sunday outings-

Reagan and her Aunt Sarah in front of the fountain at the duck pond

I spent so many days playing here in this very Gazebo!  So, I thought it was necessary to have Reagan photographed here!
This is the name of the duck pond we were at!
Kobi met Reagan when she was 4 months old (on our first trip to TX).... and she also knew her in my belly, when she and her Mom threw me a baby shower in Orlando last year!
She met us up at the duck pond to see how she had grown!

Sunday we met my Dad and Natalia for breakfast to see them off  (back to Denton) and then Reagan napped some more!  She was a tired little bit, after all this running around!  After her nap we all went to the duck pond across the street- this is where I grew up and played many many years!

Saturday events:

"The Russell Models"Josh, Kobi and Adam and I all wearing our Russell samples (with our "dressy" jewelry from the wedding!)  and I can't forget to mention the awesome Tiki Hut behind us, courtesy of Randy.  :)

Reagan with her Great Grandan

Reagan playing in the window at Grandan's house!- like kitty like Reagan (the cat was playing up in the window!)
Reagan and Mommy all dressed up, ready for the wedding
This was the neatest cake!  I just loved it, and the taste of it too!  They are both in medical school and the grooms cake was the game OPERATION- very clever thinking Matt!

Saturday morning we met at my Grandan's house to see my Dad, Natalia, and Ruth Ann.  Reagan had a fun time messing with the cat- that loved playing with her too!  This probably entertained her for about an hour!  Then Adam and my Dad and some friends went to play golf while Sarah, Reagan and I all went home to take a nap.  Then it wasn't long before it was time to get ready for Becky and Matt's wedding! Mom and Sarah babysat Reagan, so Adam and I were able to enjoy ourselves!
The wedding was beautiful and the food at the reception was incredible! Congratulations you two!

After the reception Adam, Josh, Kobi and I, all went over to Kobi's parents house to smoke more cigars- HA!  Josh was saying such great things about the cigars he had Friday night, that Randy (Kobi's Dad) wanted one! Randy works for RUSSELL clothing and he had a ton of samples in his garage so we were all able to get in comfy "workout" clothes and not have to stay in our "dress" clothes!
We visited there for (the hour and a half it takes to smoke the cigars) then went home and crashed!

Random Reagan pictures-

These are a few shots while I was away, and Zana was babysitting!  The one in the stroller was her first time at the Duck Pond and in contact with ducks (her favorite animal)- they said she got really excited when she saw the ducks!  Wish I could have been there!
The shot in the grass is just plain CUTE, and the one on the bed makes her look so BIG (must be the angle, her head is HUGE! Ha!)  and the last one, is her eating a Mexican dessert at Grama's on Friday night.  She was a complete MESS at dinner that night, but loved all of the new foods she tried!
