Grabbing
These past few days Reagan has started grabbing everything- Adam picked her up from her crib and she had a handle on her big blanket and she held onto it through the whole house! She is taking a big grip onto everything, including her feet- here are pics of her on her floor mat (holding onto the giraffe's leg) and her eating her keys!
Hello!
It has been awhile since I have blogged! We have been busy! Reagan and I went to visit the lactation consultant on Thursday afternoon to find out that she is weighing in at 11.13 lbs! She is nearly 12 pounds! We will be going back again on Wed. morning to weigh her again, and Adam and I both think she has gained- she's getting to be a chunky monkey! So far this is what we have been up too:
Sat. we went to Best Buy (where we picked up our latest toy; Guitar Hero....... yes, Adam is turning into a ROCK STAR)- we went in to pick up a steam vac for me, and ended up playing their demo for an hour (while Reagan slept) and since they didn't have my steam vac, we bought the Guitar Hero! HAHA! It's a lot of fun! Then we went to IKEA- Adam had never been and he was quite excited to see what all the fuss was about (IKEA (for those who don't know, is a GIANT store new to Orlando) and BOY, were we wrong to choose Sat. afternoon to go shopping- it was PACKED! People were parking in a dirt lot! (But on the plus side with having a baby, you get to park in the "Family parking") :) We went in to get some lamps and frames and got what we needed but came out with a headache! Adam never wants to go back! We then spent the remainder of the day playing Guitar Hero (Adam) and cleaning out closets.
Sunday we went to the 10:30 service and Reagan was finally asleep this time, so I thought I may be able to sit in the service today- but when the pastor started praying, she started talking! She talked and talked and talked! Bless her heart! We encourage it at home, but not during the service! :) So for the remainder of the service we went to the "nursing mothers" room (where we spend EVERY Sunday)- its prob about time for her to start going to the childcare, but since she won't take a bottle, I figure they will call me out each Sunday anyway. After church we had a nice lunch and lounged around the house all day watching basketball.... and our Rock Star Dad...play Guitar Hero!
Today, Reagan slept 12 hours! I could hear her sucking through the monitor throughout the night and when I went in to wake her up this morning she had her thumb in her mouth! YES! She's finally found it! Anyway, she went with me to get my haircut today! YEA! I love it- I feel like a new person! It has been about 3 months since my last haircut- I got it cut a week before she was born. She slept the majority of the time while I was getting it cut so that was a bonus! But it was a nice little pick me up! She doesn't even recognize me anymore ("who is the person claiming to be my Mommy? My Mommy doesn't do her hair.") - that's prob what she is thinking! Anyhow, she is napping now, so I only have a short time to update the blog- here are some new pics, etc.! Enjoy!

Sonic Boom!
Last night around 8:45pm while Adam was getting Reagan dressed after her bath, I was on the web cam with Sally and there was a huge BOOM sound, (it sounded like a bomb dropped right on our house, the whole house shook)- I ran into Reagan's room to see what Adam thought it was and he went out front to check it out and we couldn't find any sign of anything. We just came to the conclusion that it was a branch or something that fell on the house, which we wouldn't be able to see until morning.
Thank goodness, today he heard over the radio that the shuttle landed last night and it was the "SONIC BOOM"- So, Reagan, Adam and myself all experienced our first "sonic boom". WOAH!

Giggly Reagan
This is soo sweet! Don't forget to turn up your volume and pause the music at the bottom, in order to hear this- another video of Reagan! This time Adam video taped it and he did a great job, but the lighting is bad, so its a little hard to see, but Reagan is really getting a kick out of me getting in her face! This laughing loudly thing is new as of TODAY. She is such a doll!
Like Father... Like Daughter...
Well, like I've blogged before, Reagan and Adam are one of a kind, and exactly alike! :) I never thought a picture of tongues would be so cute, until I put these two together!
Adam is pictured here wearing our favorite "Snugli" carry system. (It is my saving grace, Reagan loves it) We take her and Miami on walks everyday, and she could go for hours. We are hoping this is helpful while at the airport, on our way to TEXAS!!
Lately, Reagan has been talking even more! We have a web cam and talked to Izzy and Poppy last night and Reagan told them all about her day! She talked and talked and talked! Adam and I have tried to get it on camera, but every time she sees it she freezes up, but it won't be long and she won't care about the camera!
She also slept over 11 hours on Sunday night- I couldn't believe it! I got so much extra rest, it was wonderful! She also experienced her first BOO BOO- I was putting her in her car seat on Sat. afternoon (leaving for Jacksonville) and she head butted the car seat. I think it hurt me more than her, but she did SCREAM for a min. and it left a little red spot (which I thought would bruise) but it didn't.....thank goodness, I would hate for her to have gotten her first black eye at 3 months old!
She is a tough little girl, not much phases her!... and dare I say again, Just like her daddy!

Reagan's First Easter
Reagan's first Easter consisted of lots of EATING, and SLEEPING! We did make it to church, but Reagan and I spend the majority of the time there in the "nursing mothers" room. She loved her little Easter basket Izzy sent here (as seen in one of the pictures) and YES, that is a BUNNY hat she is wearing! :) I couldn't resist! The REAL easter pictures will be COMING SOON...to the blog! HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!
Haynes and Foshee Family
Saturday before Easter Adam, Reagan and I drove down to Jacksonville, FL. to visit Adam's 2nd cousin and his family- they have 5 kids, so it was hard to get a pic of all of them at one time, so I did the best I could by getting the pics I did! The first picture is Adam and Reagan with Heath (Adam's cousin) and his little 81/2 month old, Isabella, and 2 year old, Carson. The second picture is Me and Reagan with Nancy (Heath's wife) and Isabella. And the third picture is Reagan with 4 year old, Garrett. We had a really great time visiting and pigging out on BBQ! :)

Just like Daddy
Be sure to Turn UP your volume, and PAUSE the music at the bottom of the page to hear this!
I shot this of Reagan napping one afternoon, this is priceless! :) (and excuse my awful recording skills, I'm learning!)
Hats!
We played with all of Reagan's hats the other day- she looks too cute! We love the deer in the headlights look!

Big girl Reagan Haynes, on her 3 month Birthday!
Today at Mommy and Me class we learned about Childhood Illness, and what to do- and also learned tips on flying with an infant- it will only be one month before we're flying to TX!!! :)
Thumb and a Lovie
This is an Easter Bunny "Lovie" that Zana (my mom) sent Reagan for Easter, and she took right to it! She likes to hold onto blankies, etc. and so she really likes this little satin bunny! Who knows, this could be what she chooses to hold while sucking her thumb! (The bunny also plays a little song when you press the heart in the middle) Too cute!
Thank you, Zana!

Happy 3 Month Birthday, Reagan!
Today is Reagan's 3 month Birthday and she ROLLED OVER this morning about 5 times in a row at "Mommy and Me" class, for the first time!!! It frightened her when she went from her tummy to her back so fast, her eyes were huge! But she did it several times afterward.
She is getting so big- looking back at the pictures of her on her one month birthday, verses now is amazing the change. As you can see in the pictures, she is really learning to hold herself up, it won't be but another month I bet and she will be sitting up!
She loves "tummy time" and since she spends so much time on her tummy, she is already showing signs of wanting to crawl! Adam says about 8 more weeks and he thinks she'll be doing it! Who knows, but its all happening so fast! She is going to be an active little thing!
As we approach 3 months she has already learned to: roll over from stomach to back, sleep through the night (nights vary from about 6 1/2 to 10 hours), stand up on both feet (she loves to stand- with our help of course), suck her thumb (I think that is what is helping her sleep through the night), turn her head to the sounds she hears coming from her left and right, focus on her mommy and daddy, and she can TALK, TALK, TALK! I look forward to next months improvements!
Happy Birthday Baby Reagan!!

Easter pictures!
Saturday my friend Kristyn and I took Reagan to the mall to get her pictures done with the Easter Bunny! (I was not happy, however, that the Easter Bunny was rather SCARY and brown!....the Easter Bunny is suppose to be Pink and White)- but I guess not the one in FL. he's TAN!! :) So, we bought her a new dress (just for the Bunny pics) and she was adorable- I bought a package, and will try to get the pic on the blog- but if I cant, they put her in a basket by the bunny and the basket had a little butterfly on the handle and she loved to stare at it! :) A typical girl, loves butterflies!
Then today, Kristyn and I took her to get her REAL Easter pics taken and she had been awake for about 2 hours prior to the shoot. Which means a nap is needed SOON. We got her in the car and she passed out! When we got to her shoot, (which was a total of 5 min away), we tricked her into thinking she had just woken up from a LONG nap- (b/c when she just wakes up in the morning she smiles and it soo fun, and talkative) - and this worked for a little bit! She gave us some really great pictures and I will get those added to the blog in about 10 days-
Have a great week!

Talk, Talk, Talk
Adam and I have company from Alabama in for the weekend, and Reagan has been talking to Kristyn more than we have EVER heard! She is so sweet- just laughing, giggling, and talking so much today! She had a great sleep last night- over 6 1/2 hours and then a small 20 min meal, 5 more hours of sleep, then about an hour of eating, and playing with Mommy and Daddy and then ANOTHER 2 hours of sleep! She must be growing with all that sleeping going on! Adam and his friend are off golfing, so Kristyn and I will prob take her out and about- we have to go buy her something to wear for pics with the Easter Bunny on Thursday! :) Can't wait!.... Until then, have a great weekend!

CHEESE!!!
This morning Reagan was soo Cheesy! I put her in the Bumbo to watch me clean her room and gave her this little rattle duck and she just laughed and grinned- so much- this is the first little photoshoot that I have done with her that she has smiled so much! These are my favorite pictures!
SCREECH!
Reagan has started this new thing of when she gets excited she actually screeches! It is so cute now, but once she gets in the habit of this LOUD, excited, holler- other people won't be too fond of it- especially when we go to Texas on a 4-5 hour plane ride! HA!

Mall-
Today was Reagan's first trip to the mall- looks like she enjoyed herself, doesn't it?! She's not much of a shopper yet, and Daddy's happy about that, but it can't be good when I go! :) (Too many cute little girls things!)
Photo above is Gina; a friend of mine from Disney (she must have the special "nap" touch)
"I'm a big girl, now!"
Reagan is gaining weight- YAY! She weighed in 11.07 lbs when I weighed her yesterday at Mommy and Me! She was 10.07 last Wed.! She is gaining one pound a week, which is exactly what the pediatrician said she should! She has almost doubled her birth weight!
Yesterday at Mommy and Me, we learned about speech development and how to read, sing and play with our babies! Adam and I used some of the techniques I learned yesterday last night and we had lots of fun reading to her! She is going to be a talker like her mommy! :) I cant wait to have her to talk to!
Izzy and Zana with Reagan
This is a pic of Izzy (Adam's Mom) and Zana (My Mom) at Christmas with Reagan- she was only 2 days old- Gosh! She grew up over night it seems!
Pappy and Aunt Sarah with Reagan (Jan 2008)
This is a pic of my dad AKA Pappy and Aunt Sarah with Reagan, one day after her one month birthday! We had a really great time visiting and can't wait for them to come and see us again- Come back soon, you two! We Love and Miss you!
Aunt Alyson and Aunt Sarah
Baby Reagan with her two favorite Aunts! Aunt Alyson (Adam's sister; Dec. 26, 2007) and Aunt Sarah (my sister; Jan. 19, 2008)..... of course Miami had to get in the picture! She is always wanting to be where ever the baby is!- She is a good guard dog for Reagan
Manchu Picchu Dec. 2006
Adam is the traveler of the family- he has traveled all over the world and his most recent adventure was to Manchu Picchu in Peru- December of 2006. He plans to go to Nepal sometime this year and climb up to Base Camp at Mt. Everest. BRR! Is all I have to say!
Check out their amazing video footage of their trip to Peru by clicking on the link on the LEFT side of the page!

Bumbo seat
Picture #1 TOP was Reagan in her BUMBO seat on Feb. 5th at 7 weeks old (yes, early, I know- just trying it out, she had great head control really early on)
Picture #2 BOTTOM is Reagan on March 12th at 11 weeks old- sitting up completely! The picture is hard to tell but she is trying to sit up in her bouncy seat now! She is so strong it is amazing what she is trying to do!
I slept through the night!!!!!
Last night Reagan slept through the night for the first time! YAY! She went to sleep late, at 11pm but didn't wake up until 6:30am - then went right back to sleep until 8:15am, when I had to wake her up to get her ready for our "Mommy and Me" class! I'm hoping she sticks to this schedule, so we'll see how she does tonight!

Baptism
He said to them, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.' Mark 10:14
Reagan Victoria Haynes was baptized on March 2, 2008 at Summit Church. She was a little restless and hungry but did such a good job! There were 8 other families dedicating/baptizing their babies, and I was nervous being up there that long- that she would scream, but she really didn't fuss too much- she's such a wonderful little baby!
My First Swimsuit!
This is Reagan's very first swimsuit! Izzy got it for her for her first trip to Miami- we were unable to make it on that trip this time but we'll be going soon! (Plus we only live a few miles from the beach, we'll be going a lot when it warms up)
She looks precious in this and loves it too- I think she will like the beach, she's our little water baby!

I can't figured out which thumb tastes better.....
She won't take a pacifier and loves her thumbs- but she can't decide if she wants to be a righty or lefty. Which all depends on which thumb tastes the best!
